When the path of the fifth Bodhisattva ground is completely perfected, one enters the sixth Bodhisattva ground. The way to enter is through the ten kinds of equality of phenomena. What are these ten? They are as follows: the equality of all phenomena being without characteristics, the equality of all phenomena being without self-nature, and similarly, the equality of being unborn, unarisen, peaceful, primordially pure, without elaboration, without taking, and without abandoning. The equality of all phenomena being like illusions, dreams, mirages, cities of gandharvas, moons in water, reflections, and emanations. The equality of all phenomena being non-dual in terms of existence and non-existence. When one thoroughly realizes the nature of all phenomena in this way, one attains the manifestation of the sixth Bodhisattva ground through sharp and compliant forbearance. As it is said. The first eight are the equality of ultimate truth, the ninth, shown by the seven similes of illusion etc., is the equality of conventional truth, and the last is the equality in both truths. Sharpness means being extremely clear about the ten equalities, and compliant forbearance means not being afraid of them. Through this gateway, one can obtain the sixth ground. Secondly, therefore, here, only the equality of the unborn nature of phenomena is shown by reasoning, with the intention of easily showing other equalities of phenomena. Therefore, the teacher said at the beginning of the "Treatise on the Middle Way": "Not from oneself, nor from another, nor from both, nor without cause. Things, whatever, wherever, never have birth." This is a brief statement. Here, the "not existing" below is related to the four phrases "not from oneself" etc., so it shows the proposition, that is, no matter what time, place, or school, it is impossible for internal and external phenomena to arise from themselves, etc. The four phrases should be combined and understood. The meaning of "whatever school" means "depending on", not "by means of...". Regarding the reasoning for establishing these four propositions, the two great traditions of Prasangika and Svatantrika, divided by Buddhapalita and Bhavaviveka, appear. Here, identify the difference between Prasangika and Svatantrika, refute the views of Svatantrika,

A detailed explanation of the tenets. Firstly, whether some people accept the ālaya-vijñāna, whether they accept the afflicted mind, whether they accept self-awareness and external objects, etc., will be refuted below. Regarding the difference in what is to be refuted in the ultimate truth, the Svātantrika school believes that it is not established by the way it appears to the mind, but rather clinging to the fact that these dharmas have a way of abiding, which is the innate clinging to reality that has been present since beginningless time. What the Svātantrikas establish here is extremely coarse compared to the mind that clings to what is to be refuted by the Prāsaṅgika school, so it is not a subtle innate clinging to reality. When the reality of what is clung to by that clinging to reality is refuted by reason, then, like a magician, one no longer clings to the way of abiding of the inner and outer dharmas that are not established by the power of the inner mind, but rather knows that they are merely existent established by the power of the mind. When the Svātantrikas refute these with reason, they must clearly distinguish whether an object is form or formless, and for form, they must refute the partless of directions such as east, and for consciousness, they must refute the partless of past and future times, as explained in other treatises. It should be established that objects are pervaded by parts. Then, if the nature of the part and the whole are different, they will become unrelated, so they must be refuted and shown to be of one nature. At that time, how can one trust it? Because the way of appearance is different in nature, it appears as an illusion, so it appears as such, and the union of the two truths is determined. Then, there is no contradiction in the false way of abiding established by the way it appears to the mind, but if the basis is not the way of abiding established by the way it appears to the mind, then it is absolutely unreasonable. In this way, even if there is no way of abiding that is not established by the way it appears to the mind, there is one way of abiding that is established by it that is not merely a name, which does not contradict this tenet, so there will be a great difference in what is to be refuted by the two Madhyamaka schools in the face of the mind. When identifying what is to be refuted by the Prāsaṅgika school, among the two ways in which dharmas are established by conceptual thought and the way of clinging to them in the opposite way, the first is, quoting the teachings of the "Sūtra Requested by Nearness," the "Four Hundred Verses," and the "Garland of Jewels," in conventional terms,
