Yes. Thirdly, for those logicians who believe that the non-deceptive cause is a pervasive entity with a single counter-entity, and who see that it exists in the similar category and is absent in the dissimilar category, this is oppressed by the yoke of the same counter-entity. As it is said, "With the reason of 'otherness,' even differences can be destroyed." They believe it to be so. The unestablishedness that is the same as the probandum is that if the proponent, in order to establish the probandum, establishes some true dharmas, then the property of the subject is not established; if some appearing dharmas are established, then the pervasion is not established; and it is not possible to show an example that is established by valid cognition for both. As it is said, "When arguing with emptiness." etc. Similarly, the refutation that is the same as the probandum is that the Madhyamikas say that the aggregates are not self-existent because they are dependently arisen. For this statement, since the moment of knowing that reason, the refutation itself, which is actually uncertain, is also unestablished as the same as the probandum. Scriptural valid cognition is the determination of the meaning expressed based on the scripture that shows the ultimate emptiness, such as the view of the followers of the sharp-witted Dharma. The valid cognition of measuring by example is to understand that all appearing things are not as true as they appear by taking illusions and mirages as examples. Thus, among the four valid cognitions, the first is the true direct perception, and the latter three are: "Becoming a means to attain the ultimate truth." And, the Dharma taught by the Buddhas completely relies on the two truths. From this perspective, the teachings taught are the wisdom that realizes the ultimate, so they are included here. Because of the non-establishment of the subject and the similar example in terms of reason, there is no autonomous reason. Regarding this, first, there is the valid cognition of conventionality that establishes the basis for investigation, in the middle there is the valid cognition of the former proponent when investigating it, and finally there are three occasions when valid cognition arises in the continuum of the latter proponent after the investigation is completed. In the first case, the former proponent also accepts the subject, because: "Without relying on conventions, the ultimate cannot be shown." This is the meaning of what is said. In the second case, the former proponent has already entered the view of Madhyamaka, so they do not accept these, but the latter proponent accepts, for the same reason as before. Third,

At that time, even from the perspective of the refuter, they would not concede these points, as there would be no difference from the previous refutation. In this system, this point is extremely important. Fourth, from the perspective of what is to be proven, there are five lines of reasoning for proving the two types of selflessness: Explaining in common from the perspective of scripture; Identifying the two selves to be refuted; Explaining the categories of reasoning that refute; Explaining the two main lines of reasoning separately; Explaining how the lines of reasoning mutually demonstrate each other. First, from the perspective of scripture: The Blessed One himself clearly stated the basis of refutation—the identification of persons and phenomena, the identification of the self to be refuted, the reasoning for its non-existence, and the benefits of cultivating after realizing selflessness. As stated in the "Sutra on the Admonition to King Udayana": King, listen to what is meant by the selflessness of persons. Why are the five aggregates a continuum? Because the cause is born from actions and afflictions, The result is the leaking aggregates, the self of which. The self is attached to this body of each sentient being, Grasping it as "I" and "mine." The self fears sickness, death, hunger, and cold. It rejoices when praised and is displeased when criticized. Aiming at that, the views of the tirthikas enter. That "I" or "mine" does not exist; It is a delusion arising from examining the aggregates. The name is not the self, but merely a designation. The body is also not the self, but flesh, bones, and so on. The great elements are assembled, like an external wall. The mind is also not the self, because it has no substance. King, listen to what is meant by the selflessness of phenomena. Phenomena are all things, such as forms, Without an agent, yet grasping at characteristics. There are wrong discriminations, holding onto signs, And views that do not accord; that does not exist. One should not seek emptiness by abandoning this thing, Because appearance itself is emptiness. One should not impute emptiness merely to destruction and impermanence. How can it be shown that appearance lacks inherent existence? It does not abide in existence, non-existence, or the middle of the three. What is known as existence is samsara and nirvana. The nature of samsara is the two, object and mind. This object is without substance; one should examine it thus. Self-appearing particles are destroyed, and even particles have no parts. All appearances of things are mind, like a dream. The mind is also separate from colors, shapes, and so on. Therefore, samsara is empty and selfless. Because there is no samsara, there is also no nirvana. Because existence is not established, neither is non-existence. Because there are no two extremes,
