There are two aspects to the direct explanation: first, stating the former's view, and second, explaining the difference in reasoning for refutation. The first aspect is: The proponents of reality in our own school believe that ultimate truth is the duality of grasper and grasped, while the Mind-Only school believes that the non-dual reality arises from four conditions that are different entities. They say this, and the Svātantrika school also believes that other-origination exists in conventional truth. The second part is divided into five points: first, the reasoning that will be explained from the scriptures; second, the reasoning established by Chandrakīrti; third, the reasoning established by Buddhapālita; fourth, the way in which Guṇamati points out its faults; and fifth, connecting the already explained refutation with memory. The first point is: Things do not arise from others, because there is no other. Here it is also said: The nature of things is not in conditions, etc. This will be explained there. The second point is divided into two parts: first, refuting other-origination in terms of reason; second, refuting other-origination in terms of convention. The first part is divided into two points: first, refuting through extreme consequences; second, refuting after detailed analysis. The first point is divided into two parts: first, stating the extreme consequences; second, refuting its answer. The first point is: Just as the fruit sprout arises from a seed that is a different entity, it would also arise from non-causes such as fire and charcoal, because they are the same in terms of being different entities. The second point is: If it is thought that even if they are the same in terms of being different entities, they do not arise from others that are not causes, so there is no fault. Then, for this answer, from the two aspects of the same reason and the same reversal, it is the same as other generality. The first aspect has three points: first, asking for the reason for the difference; second, refuting the stated reason; and third, avoiding being the same as one's own conventional truth. The first point is: If there is a difference, please state the difference in reason. In this way, even if the difference in entity is the same, one should examine what the difference is between arising from one and not arising from another. The second point is divided into three situations that cannot be answered: appearance, ability, and nature. The first situation is: If it is thought that because it is seen by direct perception, then the mistaken consciousness that has not been analyzed will think so, but when analyzing, what is seen cannot be answered, because even if it appears to arise, it cannot be established that things arise, which is the same as the examination of dreams, illusions, etc., for yourselves. The second situation is: If it is thought that because there is ability and no ability, it is determined in this way, then

This also doesn't work, because when analyzed with reason, it is ineffective in the three times. The third possibility is, even if other aspects are the same, is birth and non-birth the natural law of things? Or is it the greatness of dependent origination? If it is a natural law, then there needs to be something that destroys it, and something that proves it. Because seeing birth and non-birth, in this case, birth and non-birth cannot be established as a natural law, and as before, there is no valid measure of proof. The third case is, if that is the case, just like karma, the ripening is certain, etc., all the conventional certainties that you accept will also become unreasonable. If you say so, when we analyze with reason, there is no certainty even in the conventional, but in the eyes of those who do not analyze and whose minds are confused, karmic results, etc., appear without confusion, and only on this appearance, it is said in the conventional that karmic results, etc., are certain, so there is no fault. Just as you think of the other as independent, I will not accept the conventional either. For the sake of the result, even if these do not exist, it is said that they exist. I say this in front of the world. It's like saying this. Second, the extension of the same reverse is the same as the other, for example, two sprouts are the same in other respects, but they are produced from seeds, and not produced from fire and coal, so the extension is not established as the same. If you do not have a sign with extension, then the sign of self-nature will disappear. If it exists, then you should ask what it is. If wherever there is smoke, there is fire, like in the kitchen. Some people also have only a little smoke, like this. Because the little smoke in the kitchen is pervaded by fire, so in the place where that little smoke is reversed, the little smoke of La is also pervaded by fire, is that what you are saying? Here also, the sprout is pervaded by being produced only from the other of the seed, so in the place where that other is reversed, the other of fire and coal is also pervaded by the sprout being produced, it is the same. Just like this, if the cause and the result are other, then the cause and the non-cause will become the same. And, if relying on the other, another other will arise, then thick darkness will also arise from the flame. That's what it says. If the life of a cow is only pervaded by yokes, etc., then the life of a human being, which is the same reverse as that life, will also be pervaded by yokes, etc., you will also think so.
