The meaning of establishing the three through valid cognition. When the Consequentialist refutes with reasoning, does it mean that one must accept, or does it mean accepting from one's own side? If according to the former, then at that time, the three, such as truly established, can also be refuted, so distinguishing between common and uncommon differences is meaningless. If according to the latter, it is very unreasonable, because the Autonomist also believes that the emptiness of its own characteristic's basis of designation is empty by its own nature, and in the explanation of the *Abhidharmasamuccaya*, Sthiramati says, "The so-called 'exclusively' means that the essence is not even tainted by a slight odor." Moreover, in the Autonomist treatises such as the Two Truths and Ornament, they rejoice in the solitary existence of things like form without investigation, and say that everything is like an image. If one thinks that by accepting one's own characteristic, nature, and essence, one has accepted these, then the Consequentialist will also accept these, because they also accept the self-characteristic from form to omniscience, and "The nature of fire is heat, the nature of sugarcane is sweetness, similarly, the nature of all phenomena is explained as emptiness," and they also accept the essence of things and the essence of non-things. If the opponent argues that because in *If the self-characteristic is change*, the opponent admits that the noble meditative equipoise realizes emptiness, so there is no one more suitable than the Autonomist, because the realist would not admit it that way. This is truly too narrow-minded in the way of explaining the meaning of the scriptures, because "The view of emptiness is contrary to it," and "Liberation comes from the view of emptiness, the remaining meditations are its meaning," and "Therefore, whichever of the two emptinesses, that is its very nature," and "Emptiness, in short, is Suchness and the true limit, signlessness and ultimate truth, the Dharma realm is a synonym," etc., the Hearer school and the Mind-Only school all establish the name of emptiness for the reality realized by the noble meditative equipoise. Therefore, all four tenet systems realize emptiness with the noble meditative equipoise.

Because the desire to realize is the same, the Sravaka school considers that the self-character of the aggregates is truly established, but on top of that, considering the emptiness of the self of the person to be emptiness; the Vijnanavada school considers that other-nature is truly established, and that the emptiness of the grasper and the grasped and the other entity is emptiness; some Madhyamikas who are nihilistic emptiness, and the unionists also consider that when the first extreme is refuted, emptiness is emptiness with truth, and ultimately consider that emptiness is emptiness with the four extremes of proliferation, so it should be known that there are many different views on the basis of emptiness and the way of emptiness. So, who is the proponent of that? It is the Mind-Only school. In the commentary, it says: Other-nature is established by its own characteristics, and it is said that other-nature does not appear in the noble Samadhi, because it shows the internal contradiction of the promise, and it is also clear from the connection of the lower tenets that it is one who wants other-birth in the ultimate sense. If the meaning of the previous refutations and establishments is summarized and shown, then the difference between these two should not be distinguished from the point of view of the ultimate view, because both of them are the same in wanting to be free from the four extremes of proliferation after refuting them in the order of the four extremes. In terms of conventions, it is also unreasonable to distinguish between general commitments, commitments of intention, and commitments of self-continuum from the point of view of existence and non-existence, because the commitment to refute the four extremes of birth, etc., and the commitment to refute the divisions, etc., are not contradictory to the first two commitments, and because they are established by reason. For example: born from Sravakas and Buddhas, born from Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the three dharmas are the cause of Bodhisattvas, generosity brings enjoyment and discipline brings happiness. And so on, the commitment of cause and effect, and the fact that there is the Tathagatagarbha in the sentient beings' continuum, and that there are sentient beings in the vessel world, etc., the commitment of the support and the supported, and that form is the nature of visible form, etc., and that all conditioned things are impermanent, etc., the commitment of self-character and general character, and the commitment that the Bodhisattva who abides in the three grounds of joining, seeing, and meditating does not turn back, etc., on the basis of the establishment of any of the four valid cognitions of the Dharma nature convention, the commitment that one has determined the characteristics and shows them for the purpose of making others certain, etc., are all self-continuum.
