Completely different from what is said in the Sutra Pitaka, at the time of the result, one's own cause is neither existent nor non-existent, neither of the same essence nor of a different essence, thus abandoning the extremes of permanence and annihilation. Nowadays, those who want to truly understand the two negations of the Prasangika Madhyamaka school will not find them even after eons. Secondly, the Dharmadhatu, the ultimate truth, in the face of the wisdom that analyzes with reason, either sequentially or simultaneously in the face of the wisdom of the noble one's equipoise, is free from the proliferation of the four extremes, therefore the ultimate truth itself is the Middle Way. If merely being free from the two extremes is also called the Middle Way, then being free from all extremes is even more appropriate to be called the Middle Way. Thirdly, in mere conventional appearance, the result arises dependent on the cause, thus liberating from the extreme of annihilation. In the very manner of arising, when analyzing the four extremes with reason, it becomes empty because it cannot be found, thus liberating from the extreme of permanence, therefore the inseparability of these two is the Middle Way. The Root Verses on the Middle Way say: "Whatever is dependently arisen, I say that is emptiness, it is also a designation, and it is also the meaning of the Middle Way." And the Refutation of Objections says: "If there is emptiness and dependent arising." etc., as quoted before. This, in relation to the wisdom of ordinary beings, is the way to realize union by alternately combining earlier and later. And the way to ultimately manifest union is that samsara and nirvana are equal, samsara and nirvana are inseparable, and complete defilement and complete purification are of the same essence. The Ornament for Clear Realization says: "Because all phenomena are like dreams, one does not think of existence or peace." And the Praise Without Compare says: "Having abandoned samsara, you do not desire nirvana, because samsara is imperceptible, the protector knows that peace. You, with all defilements, and with the taste of purity, understand the nature of the Dharmadhatu, and transform into complete purity." Thus it is said. Fourthly, for all such Middle Ways, they are divided into the realization of the ultimate truth, which is realized in an inexpressible way by the equipoise of the noble ones, and the teaching of the ultimate truth, which is realized in a way that includes expression by the intellect of ordinary beings. The Clear Words says: "One does not even say empty."

Saying, one should not say "non-empty," one should not say "two" and "non-two," although all of these should not be said, but if one does not say them, the realized ones will not be able to realize the nature of abiding as it is. Therefore, we abide in the conventional truth, and for the sake of conventional meaning, we further embellish in front of the beings to be tamed, and also say "empty," also say "non-empty," also say "both empty and non-empty," and also say "neither empty nor non-non-empty." Therefore, it is said for the sake of designation. Thus it is said, the necessity of showing emptiness and so on should be understood from investigation. Thus it is said, the Consequentialists consider both to be the nature of the ultimate truth that separates the two truths, while in the treatises of the Autonomists, it seems to be divided into two types: those with characteristics and those without characteristics. Fifth, among the Madhyamaka that is said and the Madhyamaka that can be said, the former is everything as said before, and the latter is, in terms of the ultimate, all the scriptures of the Sugata. When temporarily divided into definitive and provisional, the definitive sutras, the intermediate Buddha's words, the signless Dharma wheel, etc., and the collections of reasoning that explain their intention, etc. Sixth, the three Madhyamaka of ground, path, and fruit, in terms of the favorable conditions for one person to achieve enlightenment, there must be a basis established through hearing and thinking, the practice of cultivation, and the fruit of cultivation. Second, there are four types of explanations of the differences among those who explain Madhyamaka: explaining the tenets of the early scholars, refuting the unreasonable aspects, accepting the reasonable aspects, and abandoning uncertain disputes. First, some early scholars say that there are generally two types of Madhyamaka: the Madhyamaka of the sutras and treatises and the Madhyamaka of sectarian bias. The former is the noble Nagarjuna and his son. The sutras and treatises themselves are the three Prajñāpāramitā sutras, the Collection of Madhyamaka Reasoning, and the Four Hundred Verses, etc. Some say that the Consequentialists are free from all commitments, therefore they are the Madhyamaka of the sutras and treatises.
