Since it cannot be said to be without wisdom, it is unreasonable for wisdom to be complete; since things like the past and future do not exist, it is not permissible to manifest the three times, they say. This is also unreasonable, like the Vajra-like Samadhi, the firewood of the knowable arising and ceasing, permanence and annihilation, etc., is burned, and all phenomena are pacified in the Dharmadhatu, and the previous stream of awareness also ceases all phenomena such as arising and ceasing, and the two become inseparable, which is why it is regarded as wisdom. Nagarjuna said: 'In the stainless Dharmakaya, the ocean of wisdom abides in various ways.' The Commentary on Entering the Middle Way says: 'When one attains complete enlightenment there, the Blessed One attains the wisdom of omniscience in an instant.' It also says: 'Virtuous one, you comprehend the knowable in an instant.' Its explanation says: 'The Blessed One attained the wisdom of omniscience in a single instant of knowing.' That's why it is said. Fourth, the Mind-Only School and the Svatantrika School believe that there are mind and mental factors in the Buddha-land, but that is also unreasonable. The Madhyantavibhāga says: 'Mind and mental factors are the three realms, in that seeing meaning is the aspect of consciousness, the difference between them is mental factors.' Mind and mental factors are dualistic appearances with the aspect of the three realms, and they have the difference of seeing the essence and differences of things, and they are established by seeing many differences in the differences of things. Here, when the wisdom that is inseparable from all phenomena such as the arising and ceasing of the knowable is manifested, there is not the slightest difference between dualistic appearances and different ways of grasping. Considering this, the Entering the Middle Way says: 'All the dry firewood of the knowable, burned and pacified, that is the Dharmakaya of the Victorious Ones, at that time there is no birth and no death, because the mind ceases, that body is directly realized.' Its explanation says: 'In this way, the object of wisdom, in that one suchness, in all ways, mind and mental factors do not exist, therefore it is directly realized by the body, and it is established in the conventional truth.' The explanation of the Peaceful Body says: 'By which body is that'

Therefore, it is said that manifesting this is considered to be of a peaceful nature, because it is free from mind and mental factors. Thus it is said. Fifth, in the Two Truths it says, "Devoid of the nature of being examined, only this which appears as it is, all that arises dependently, is directly seen by the all-knowing." Therefore, with the conventional appearance of arising and ceasing, it is also considered that the object-possessor also has arising and ceasing. And, the Mind-Only school believes that the wisdom of the Buddha is fabricated, and that all fabricated things are momentary, therefore believing that it has arising and ceasing, both of which are unreasonable. If it is fabricated, then it must be of a false, deceptive nature. If arising and ceasing appear, then the meaning of dependent arising, which is unborn, has not been manifested, as stated by Nagarjuna. As the Sixty Stanzas of Reasoning says, "Under the knowledge of Dharma, if there is a distinction here, then for extremely subtle things, who can separately examine their arising? The unskilled one does not see the meaning of dependent arising." Thus it is said. Therefore, the wisdom of the Buddha and its self-appearance have no arising and ceasing. As the Sutra says, "Manjushri, there is no birth and no cessation, this is the supreme word of the Tathagata." And, Nagarjuna says, "Whoever has abandoned birth and death in this way, I prostrate to the Sage who taught dependent arising." And, in the Entering the Middle Way, it says, "At that time there is no birth and no cessation." In the commentary it says, "The body with the nature of wisdom, because it has burned all the dry firewood of knowable objects, thereby possesses the unborn knowable, this is the Dharmakaya of the Buddhas." And so on, it is said a lot. Appearing as arising and ceasing to those to be tamed is other-appearance, not self-appearance. As the Uttaratantra says, "Due to the birth and death of virtue, the Buddha's body has birth and death. Like Indra, the Thubpa's Dharmakaya has no birth and death." Taking the example of the image of Indra appearing on the ground of lapis lazuli, due to the separation and non-separation of the qualities of the ground, arising and ceasing appear, but Indra does not have such arising and ceasing, for the continuum of those to be tamed.
