Therefore, if my suffering and happiness are strong, they should be repeatedly eliminated and examined with strength. Thus, there are twelve general actions that conform to meaning and lineage, six special actions from the perspective of both meaning and lineage, and ten actions of repeated elimination from the perspective of lineage and strength. The actions of entering and withdrawing of a Bodhisattva are only twenty-eight. Like this, the general instructions, as well as the special and repeatedly eliminated actions, are in order, vast because the scope of the three disciplines is great, great because of judging long-term benefits and harms by understanding temporary suffering and happiness, noble because of following faith and compassion, and profound because of the difficulty for others to understand the scope of meaning and lineage being taken and abandoned by strength. Third, like this, all actions do not go beyond the seal of the Great Vehicle, that is, everything a Bodhisattva does is motivated by the mind of enlightenment, with the purpose of benefiting sentient beings, all views are integrated into emptiness, and all actions tend towards great meaning. If one of these is incomplete, it will become a downfall of the Great Vehicle and will not enter the path. Third, like this, the intention of aspiration and entry, and the training of practice, are the three perfect branches: a conducive companion, being skilled in what is to be done, and being cautious about what to take and abandon. The first is to have consistent views and actions, noble qualities, focus on the Dharma, and associating with such friends will not decline and will become a cause for growth. As it is said in the scriptures, "If virtuous friends surround you, qualities will be perfected." The second is to abandon faults in one's own actions, do good deeds, and be skilled in the three actions of benefiting sentient beings. The first is to generate fear even for extremely small faults, to act cautiously with shame and embarrassment, to do small good deeds in order to abandon great faults, to prevent afflictions and misdeeds from arising from the beginning through mindfulness, the vows of refuge, generating the mind of enlightenment, the three vows, and the natural sins that have already been committed will not increase due to blessings, and for those who repeatedly violate them,

And to repair, even if a root downfall of the Rabjung (sixty-year cycle) occurs, one is skilled in repairing it by relying on the vows of the Mahayana's generation of bodhicitta, through the door of confessing karmic obscurations. The second has two aspects: being skilled in manifestly accomplishing virtue and in increasing it. The first has three aspects: being skilled in the order of how to do good, expanding virtue, and transforming everything into accumulations. The first is: by sending forth thought beforehand, not mistaking the order of actions of whatever virtue one does, and learning from the small stages without becoming weary. The second is: expanding the objects themselves, such as generosity, expanding the thought, the motivation of bodhicitta, and the doer of prostrations and offerings, etc., and the field and action being emanated by the mind, and rejoicing in the virtue of others, expanding the application, whatever application one does, also causing others to do it and also speaking praise of the doer. The third has three aspects: transforming all appearances of actions into accumulations of virtue, transforming all experiences of body and mind into accumulations, and making all appearances of the environment and beings into the path. The first is: whatever is done by my three doors is for the sake of attaining Buddhahood. By directing in this way, all actions are transformed into accumulations, and actually practicing Dharma, accomplishing its conducive conditions, and eliminating obstructing conditions, through these means transforming into accumulations, and for all actions, like in the Sutra of Completely Pure Conduct, transforming all actions into accumulations with the intention of aspiration. The second is: in my own situation, when unwanted suffering arises for body and mind, having faith that this is definitely the result of my own non-virtuous actions, and vowing not to do such actions in the future, thus turning back from evil, and through my suffering, may the suffering of myself and all sentient beings be exhausted, thus generating three virtuous minds based on the unwanted, and when happiness and joy arise for me, thinking that this is the result of previously doing good, and that I will still do good, and may sentient beings also obtain such happiness and joy, hoping in this way.
