From oneself, knowing that appearances are without inherent existence, comprehending with dream-like wisdom, or after dedicating, the object of dedication, the dedicator, and so forth are all unattainable, comprehending with wisdom that knows them to be like the sky, then it becomes a pure dedication. Third, indicating its classifications, thus thinking, generated by the mind of enlightenment, combined with the conduct of the six perfections, and finally, with the three dedications completely encompassing the Great Vehicle path, this is what Jowo Je (Atiśa) asserted. However, in those scriptures, according to need, in various different ways, other classifications are taught. In the Commentary on Valid Cognition, the so-called "Brahmacharya," Brahma refers to Nirvana, and practicing for that purpose is the three trainings of higher discipline, higher mind, and higher wisdom, but here it refers to the three trainings of the Great Vehicle. Also, in terms of classification, it can also be divided into two: skillful means and wisdom. As it says in the sutra: "The essence of the Bodhisattva's path is two: skillful means and wisdom." Their nature is also as it says in the sutra: "Accomplishing the benefit of sentient beings with compassion is the nature of skillful means. Not discriminating the three spheres is the nature of wisdom." Also, in the Compendium of Trainings, twelve dharmas are also taught through other classifications, that is, in the three of the body, enjoyment, and virtue of the earth-owner, combining the four actions of giving, guarding, purifying, and increasing, and teaching them. In the Maitreya Lion's Roar Sutra, in order to quickly accomplish perfect enlightenment, it is taught through the eight dharmas that do not rely on others, namely, intention, action, giving, dedication, loving-kindness, compassion, skillful means, and wisdom. The intention of all the sutras, with the ease of the path and entering the path, is taught through the seven dharmas of becoming a Buddha, namely, prostration, offering, confessing sins, rejoicing in virtue, exhorting, requesting, and the seven aspirations. Furthermore, in the Wisdom Mudra Sutra, it should be known that Bodhisattvas are taught with many classifications, such as the four supreme dharmas. Second, how should the path that becomes the cause of the perfect Buddha be cultivated?

There are three ways of practice: training in the Mahayana mind, accumulating the accumulations, and removing the obstacles to mind and practice. The first has three: taking the mind correctly, learning after taking it, and the method of correcting mistakes. The first has three: generating the desire to take, practicing the cause of arising, and generating by ritual. The first is that, having made such a special refuge, one who wishes to accomplish perfect enlightenment should first generate the desire to generate the mind of enlightenment. He also thinks that if he does not do so, no matter what path he practices, it will not become the path of enlightenment, so it is necessary to do it; in general, all the actions of those who have realization first aspire to the result and then enter the cause; in particular, the conduct of all the Buddhas of the three times is also like this, so it must be done at the very beginning of the path, and if one dies without entering the Mahayana path, it is possible to do it quickly; if one does, one thinks that all the benefits mentioned above will arise, and generates the desire. The second is that, having generated the desire in this way, one should also cultivate its cause, which is the power of merit mentioned earlier, compassion for sentient beings, and faith in the Buddha. The first is to accumulate as much merit as possible through offerings and generosity. The second has three: the method of generating, the way of meditating, and the benefits of habituation. The first is that the teacher Kamalaśīla said that in the field of equanimity, the sprout of compassion is irrigated with the water of love, and the crop of joy grows from it, so the mind of enlightenment arises. However, Jowo said that there is no need to meditate on equanimity and joy separately. As stated in the Ornament of the Sutras, compassion arises from the water of love, so it is said to arise from love. This meditation has three: the cause of what to meditate on, the way of how to meditate, and the benefits after habituation. The first is that beginners must meditate from the gate of reason, so there are benefits to oneself, being taken by the Buddha, and the qualities of sentient beings themselves, meditating for three reasons. Among them, benefiting oneself is like this in this life, I enter into hunger, without destroying or speaking
