It is also wrong to interpret this as meaning that, just as your own view is meaningless, it is not found in the treatises of the Svātantrika. Because at the end of that very quote, it says: "Therefore, some say that whatever the Sautrāntikas say is ultimately true, the Madhyamikas consider it conventionally true. Whoever says this is only speaking because they do not understand the true meaning of the Madhyamika treatises. Also, those who think that whatever the Vaibhāṣikas say is ultimately true, the Madhyamikas consider it conventionally true, those people also do not fully understand the true meaning of the treatises. Because transcendental Dharma should not be the same as mundane Dharma, therefore, the wise should ascertain that this system is unique." This is not related to what was said before. How is it not related? The former treatise is to prove that something is not found in other treatises, while the latter treatise shows that neither the ultimate nor the conventional truth of the two Śrāvakayāna schools can be the conventional truth of the Madhyamikas, so this system is unique, and there is not even a slight hint of sarcasm towards the Svātantrikas. Someone might think, don't the realists also consider the conventional to be imputed? Although they consider it to be merely imputed from their own side, they believe that the basis of imputation must be substantially existent, so even the imputation itself cannot be established. As the Commentary on the Entrance [to the Middle Way] says: "Because of the lack of wisdom, clinging to mere substance, like pouring water into a used, unwashed pot belonging to another, because of one's own bad way of thinking, worldly conventions, established only by the world, such as 'stay,' 'go,' 'do,' 'cook,' and so on. Likewise, whatever is form, feeling, etc., all of that should be understood as fearful, therefore, only decline can occur in this, and not increase." Secondly, in worldly terms, saying "I" or "self," in the case where one searches for a true person with seven types of reasoning and does not find it, I and self, person, etc., are established conventionally by merely relying on imputation. As the Entrance [to the Middle Way] says: "It is neither the same as the aggregates nor different from the aggregates,"
