“Can know,” and “Also the manifestation of the unrecognised meaning.” These completely determine the meaning and act, because there is no deception in the act of meaning. It is said. Commentators have examined and spoken of many inconsistencies. Among them, the first is the teacher Dharmottara, who considers that non-deception and possessing three qualities is the definition of valid cognition ( प्रमाण , pramāṇa, valid cognition). The three qualities are the differences of entity, object, and function. First, the difference of entity is the ability to obtain the meaning. Second, the difference of object is the ability to obtain the meaning that is completely determined. If it is made to obtain the meaning that has not been taken, then it will be too pervasive even in the inverted places such as holding yellow conch. If it is made to obtain the meaning that has been taken, then the object of perception of direct perception is momentary, so it cannot be obtained. The object of perception of inference is non-existent, so there is nothing to be obtained. There is no fault in establishing the ability to obtain the ultimate object of action that is completely determined, without making the acquisition of the meaning taken or not taken. Third, the difference of function is to completely determine the meaning. This also cuts off the ability to obtain the meaning possessed by the senses and limbs, and shows the ability obtained by the act of knowing the meaning. It is said. The great Brahmin and others consider that knowing the true meaning and possessing three qualities is the definition of valid cognition. The three qualities are the differences of entity, object, and mode of apprehension. Among them, the knowable truth is not the truth that can be analyzed by reason, because if it is, then it will not be pervasive to the valid cognition that measures the conventional. It is also not truly existent, because if it is, then it will not be pervasive to the measurement of non-existent. It is also not truly imputed, because if it is, then it will not be pervasive to the measurement of imputation. Therefore, it is how things exist without being imputed by knowledge itself. The wisdom that knows it also possesses three qualities, the difference of entity is to eliminate superimposition, the difference of object is to know the object that was not previously known, and the difference of mode of apprehension is not to be confused about the meaning. The Ornament Master considers that there are two kinds of valid cognition, the valid cognition that knows the ultimate truth is the difference of time possessed above the first ground, held by the continuum of noble beings, and the knowledge that does not measure the external object to be measured.

Furthermore, without measuring the continuity of cognition, for each momentary, indivisible entity, the meaning of newly cognizing what was previously uncognized is the manifestation of the uncognized meaning, but it is not non-deceptive, because there is no grasping of before and after as one, so there is no attainment of decisive meaning. The nominal valid cognition is that which exists below the supreme worldly dharma in terms of temporal difference, is encompassed by the continuum of ordinary beings, and the object to be measured is the measurement of external objects, its characteristic is the aggregation of both the manifestation of the uncognized meaning and non-deception, because there is attainment of decisive meaning, so it is held. Secondly, in order to refute these in sequence, firstly, the view of Acharya Dharmakirti, that attainment of decisive meaning and non-deception are also unreasonable, because things are not momentary, so there is no attainment of decisive meaning, and no decisive meaning. If it is said that there is attainment of decisive meaning depending on the flow and cessation of things, so there is no fault, it is also unreasonable, because if one examines whether the flow and cessation are one or different entities, it is unreasonable. Secondly, the great Brahmin's realization of the true meaning, which possesses three qualities, is also unreasonable in conventional terms if examined, because for it, the difference of the object, entering the object previously cognized, if examined based on self-nature and type, it will become non-pervasive and overly pervasive. The difference of the entity, the removal of superimposition, is also unreasonable if examined, thus, the superimposition to be removed and the remover, the valid cognition, if the two entities are one, then self-action is contradictory, and what is to be severed and what severs, etc., also become one, and if the entities are not one, then the superimposition of another continuum will also be removed, because the entities are not the same. If it is said that although the entities are not the same, it removes the superimposition belonging to one continuum, and does not remove the superimposition belonging to another continuum, it cannot be said, because it is unreasonable for different continua to have the same entity. The difference in the manner of grasping, not being mistaken about the meaning that one has not superimposed oneself is also unreasonable, if analyzed, then all minds are the same in grasping the object that they have superimposed themselves. In particular, the reason why the manner of grasping of direct perception is not mistaken is that appearance should not be a thing, and a thing should not be an appearance, of the two, the former is
