It is like ruining something by proving it wrong with bad means. Fifth, knowing that it is difficult to understand the depth of this Dharma due to weak intelligence, the Buddha's mind completely turns away from teaching the Dharma to them, because emptiness is difficult to understand and harmful if not understood. Second, there are four reasons why faults do not apply to oneself: there is no basis for faults to arise, the location of faults and virtues is indicated, it is not reasonable to transform faultlessness into fault, and faults are refuted and explained. The first is: you, the realist, who speak of faults and abandon emptiness, it is not reasonable for that to apply to me, because if all these are empty, there will be no arising and no destruction, etc., which is not reasonable to apply to those who speak of emptiness, because that accusation is made by assuming that the meaning of emptiness is non-existence, and we consider the meaning of emptiness to be dependent arising, not the meaning of non-existence. The second is: for whom emptiness is reasonable, for him all things such as the four noble truths are reasonable; for whom emptiness is not reasonable, for him all things such as the four noble truths are not reasonable, because there is no change in self-nature. The third is: you, the realist, while riding on the horse of dependent arising that is empty of self-nature, are distracted by clinging to reality, and because you do not see emptiness that is empty of self-nature, you completely transfer your own faults, such as the unreasonableness of the four noble truths, to me, the Madhyamika, and argue, just like some people who are clearly riding on a horse, but forget the horse itself, and then look for excuses and complain that the horse has been stolen by others. The fourth has three points: applying faults to others, faults not applying to oneself, and explaining in detail how faults are applied to others. The first is: if you, the realist, follow the view that things exist from their own nature, then in that case, things are regarded as without cause and condition, because what is established by its own nature does not depend on cause and condition. If you accept this, then the result and the cause itself, the agent and the action, the object and arising and ceasing, and the existence of the result will also be harmed.
