Is it empty by nature, or not empty? If it is the latter, then the result is not empty by nature, and what exists by nature will not arise. What is not empty and exists by nature will also not cease. Because it is not reasonable for nature to arise from causes and conditions. It is said, "Nature changing into something else is never reasonable." Because it has been said before. So what will it become? What is not empty by nature will become unceasing and unborn, because nature cannot be fabricated. If it is the former, if it is empty by nature, then how can it truly arise, and how can emptiness truly cease? Because there is no basis. However, the result being empty by nature will also become truly unceasing and unborn, because there is no basis. Sixth, if the cause produces the result, then does the cause that is not different in essence from the result produce it? Or does the cause that is different in essence produce it? If it is the former, "Cause and result are one, it will never be reasonable." This is the proposition. If it is the latter, "Cause and result are other, it will never be reasonable." This is the proposition. The reason for the first proposition is that if the cause and result are the same substance, then what is to be produced and what produces will also become one, which is also unreasonable, because it is contradictory for oneself to act on oneself, and it will lead to the cause itself arising again and again. The reason for the second proposition is that if the cause and result are different substances, then it is also unreasonable, because just as the cause produces the result, the non-cause will also produce it, or the cause will not produce it, because merely being other, in the case where the opposite is the same, the difference between truly arising and not arising is unreasonable. Second, examining the essence of the result and refuting it: Again, if the cause produces the result by nature, then does it produce a result whose essence already exists, or does it not exist? In this regard, if the essence of the result already exists, then what will the cause produce? Because it is contradictory for nature to be produced by a cause. If the essence of the result does not exist, then just like that, what will the cause produce? Because.

Because there is no basis for arising, it is like a flower in the sky. Third, refuting by examining the nature of the cause: If it does not produce the result, then the cause itself is not reasonable, because the definition of the cause is that the cause does not have the function of producing the result. If it is thought that there is a result even without a cause, one should not think so, according to the reason stated earlier, if the cause itself is not reasonable, then which cause will the result become the result of? Because there is no result of cause is impossible. Fourth, summarizing the meaning established above: The result produced by the aggregation of causes and conditions does not exist, because it has been refuted before, the aggregation of causes and conditions will not produce its own nature, and if it does not produce its own nature, how can it produce the result? Because it cannot produce. The result produced not by the aggregation of causes and conditions, but only by the cause, is also non-existent, because the result cannot be produced if the causes and conditions are not aggregated. If it is thought that there is a cause even without a result, since there is no result, then how can there be an aggregation of conditions and the cause itself? Because there is no cause for their definition. Second, combining with the scriptures: In the Sutra of Great Play, it says: Relying on the lips, throat, and palate, the sound of letters arises from turning the tongue, but not relying on the throat, nor relying on the palate, each one cannot determine the letters. Relying on these aggregates, language can arise under the control of the wisdom of the mind, but the mind and language are invisible and intangible, and cannot be determined inside and outside. When the wise examine the arising and ceasing of language, sound, and speech, they will see that all language is like an echo in a valley, transient and meaningless. And in the Sutra Requested by Nearness, it also says: Abandoning the signs of a householder, after becoming a renunciate, even if all the results are obtained, if the nature of the Dharma is measured, all results do not exist, and obtaining results does not exist. And so on. In the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra, it also says: Kauśika ( कौशिक , kauśika, 憍尸迦) , the great Bodhisattva, having put on the great armor, should not abide in form. Up to, he should not abide in perfect and complete enlightenment. Thus it is said.
