Thus it is said. Secondly, there are three ways in which it is shown: the nature of itself cannot be shown; the way of showing by imputation; the characteristic of what is to be shown is the nature of reality itself. First, here, the Buddha, the Bhagavan, has shown that both self and non-self are absent. If these two are not shown, then what is shown? This is the connection to the answer to the question, and the elaboration. Emptiness will cease. Whatever is said, how does elaboration cease by emptiness? This is the connection to the answer to the question, and previously, since neither inner nor outer objects were observed, whatever clinging to "I" and clinging to "mine" in the inner and outer realms has ceased, that is the nature of reality itself here. If it is said, what is that? And can that be spoken or known? There are three ways of connecting to the answer to the question, but the meaning of the text seems to be the same: if there were some dharma to be spoken, it would become something to be shown, but in reality itself, clinging to words and speaking are reversed, so nothing is shown. If you wonder what that is, if it becomes the object of the mind, it would become something to be spoken. Because everything that is not observed in the realm of the mind ceases, no name can be imputed. Why does the realm of the mind cease? Because the nature of dharmas, suchness, is unborn from the beginning and unceasing, so it is similar to nirvana, which is free from adventitious stains. Therefore, there is no way for a mind with dualistic appearances to arise. Secondly, if the ultimate truth is beyond the realm of words and mind, so it cannot be shown, then how can those to be tamed realize it? There is indeed a way of showing by imputation in conventional truth. In general, in order to make the first trainees have faith, the Buddha, relying on the minds of worldly people, also truly showed all the objects contained in the vessel and essence. Later, in order to abandon attachment to that, he also showed it as untrue, relying on the minds of the noble ones. In order to eliminate the contradiction between the two, he also showed both as true in name and as untrue in reality itself. In order to abandon the superior trainees who only cling to the object of negation that has been negated, relying on the equipoise of the noble ones,

Everything is neither true nor untrue, in order to show that it is free from all the elaborations of refutation and establishment. Therefore, guiding beings to a path that suits them is the way taught by the Buddhas. Third, the characteristics of the reality to be taught are threefold: the characteristics of the ultimate reality, the characteristics of the conventional reality, and the summary of the meaning of both. First, although the ultimate reality cannot be shown by its own nature, just as it is shown by imputation in the conventional, the characteristics must also be shown by imputation. The characteristic of eliminating wrong views is: the noble Samadhi is to be known by the wisdom of self-awareness, in a way that nothing is seen; it is not to be known by children through other sounds and reasoning, etc., as it is in its own nature; since nothing has been established from the beginning, it is peaceful; since it cannot be expressed by clinging to the elaborations of speech, it is non-elaborate; since it transcends the realm of mind and mental events, it cannot be measured by any conceptualization; since there is no difference, it is not a different meaning. These five dharmas are the characteristics of the ultimate reality. Second, all dharmas arise dependently in the conventional. For example, when a certain fruit arises depending on a certain cause, then for the time being, the cause itself is not the fruit, because there is a contradiction between the agent and the object. Therefore, at the time of the fruit, it is not the permanence of the cause, nor is it different from the cause, because if it were not, it would become independent of it. Therefore, at the time of the fruit, it is not the annihilation of the cause. Third, in this way, the teachings of the Buddhas, the protectors of the world who save from samsara and nirvana, are the nectar that completely cuts off birth, old age, sickness, and death, and are the reality of the two truths. As mentioned before: not one nor different, not permanent nor impermanent. In this way, the establishment of the name of Madhyamaka is established. Third, the result of teaching it is: what will be the result of teaching in this way and realizing the two truths as they are? First of all, those of the Shravaka lineage believe that all dharmas are not established in the ultimate.
