If someone negates the three doors of liberation mentioned in the sutras in this way, is it contradictory to the scriptures, and by slandering the emptiness of reality established by reason, will it become a wrong view? It is not like that. The meaning of emptiness spoken of in the profound sutras refers to the initial objects of negation such as empty and non-empty, and is free from all elaborations of negating it, but it is not that the emptiness resulting from the negation of the self of the person and the self of phenomena that you hold becomes a cessation. Because this is not the intention of the sutra. The Buddhas, the World Honored Ones, who have conquered the enemy to be abandoned, said in the Ratnakuta Sutra: "Kashyapa, what is certain to arise from all views is only emptiness." And in the Prajnaparamita Sutra it says: "If one practices thinking that form is empty or not empty, then one is practicing with signs, and not practicing the Perfection of Wisdom. However, if one does not practice with anything, then one is practicing the Perfection of Wisdom." Therefore, it is said in the sutras that all views of emptiness, existence, etc., must be abandoned. Therefore, those who are not wise, if they think that emptiness is established by its own nature, then they cannot attain liberation from samsara, or nirvana that is neither in samsara nor in peace, the sutra says so, and it will be shown below. Secondly, in connection with the scriptures, the Ratnakuta Sutra says: "It is not emptiness that makes all phenomena empty, but phenomena themselves are empty. It is not signlessness that makes all phenomena signless, but phenomena themselves are signless. It is not wishlessness that makes all phenomena wishless, but phenomena themselves are wishless. To distinguish in this way, Kashyapa, this is called rightly distinguishing all phenomena on the Middle Way. Kashyapa, those who focus on emptiness and contemplate emptiness are degenerating from my teachings, completely degenerating." And "Kashyapa, it is better for someone who holds the view of self to be as great as Mount Sumeru, but it is not so for someone who holds the view of emptiness with pride. Why? Kashyapa, emptiness arises from all views, Kashyapa, if someone only clings to emptiness, then I say that he is incurable."

O! Like this, for example, there is a sick person, and the doctor prescribes medicine for him. If that medicine can eliminate all his diseases, but the dregs of the medicine do not remain in his stomach, Jowo Sung, what do you think? Can that person be liberated from that disease? The Blessed One replied, "That is impossible, because if that medicine can eliminate all the diseases, but does not leave any dregs, that person's stomach disease will become very serious." The Blessed One said: Jowo Sung, similarly, if one thinks that the origin of all phenomena is only emptiness, Jowo Sung, if someone only clings to emptiness, that is incurable. That's what I said. It is said that when one searches with the intelligence spoken of in the scriptures, one cannot find any extreme view such as existence or non-existence, emptiness or non-emptiness, and one merely calls it the view of the Middle Way. One should understand that there is no real establishment in what is called "view." Some Tibetans believe that after the object to be refuted, the real, is refuted, the clinging to the idea that "there is no real" cannot be eliminated, which has been clearly refuted in the Bodhicitta Commentary. Others believe that even if the nature of phenomena is established as real, the mind that clings to reality should be abandoned, for example, the clinging to the antidote itself is also taken as an object to be abandoned. This shows that without refuting the object of clinging, one cannot abandon the clinging mind, which is the fault of not understanding the essence of Madhyamaka reasoning. If one cannot find an antidote, there is no way to abandon the clinging to the antidote. Therefore, the example itself also proves that in order to abandon the clinging mind, one must search for the object of clinging and not find it. The third part is: In the commentary on the Root Wisdom of the Middle Way, "The Light of Correct View," the explanation of the "Chapter on Formations," which is the explanation of the thirteenth chapter. The second part, refuting the proof of it, is divided into three parts: Refuting the encounter of actions, refuting the causes and conditions of production, and refuting the temporary bondage and liberation. The first part is divided into three points, the first point is the connection of detailed explanation: In the "Chapter on Formations," although it is refuted that things are established by their own nature, even so, it still exists. As it says in the sutra: "Depending on the eye and the form, eye consciousness arises." And "The union of the three produces contact." "What arises simultaneously with contact is feeling." And "Feeling and
