It is for the sake of. It is also the order from defilement to purification, that is, from the perspective of defilement and purification, the form aggregate, feeling aggregate, perception aggregate, and mental formation aggregate are established. What is it that establishes the three intermediate aggregates from the perspective of defilement and purification? What is it that establishes the consciousness aggregate from the perspective of defilement and purification? In terms of the order of the realms, first of all, the order of the six internal realms is as stated in the Abhidharmakosha: From the perspective of taking the present as the object, the five senses such as the eye are mentioned first. The mind can take the three times and non-time as objects, so it is mentioned later. Among the first five senses, the first four senses such as the eye are mentioned first because they take what will arise as the object. The body sense is mentioned later because it takes both what arises and what will arise as the object. Among the four senses, the eye and ear senses are mentioned first because they can perceive objects at a very long distance. Among them, the eye sense is mentioned first because it can perceive objects at the farthest distance. As for the nose and tongue senses, the nose sense is mentioned first because it is the fastest, just as one can smell the odor without the food touching the tongue. It is also the order of how they abide. For this body, the support of the eye sense abides first, below it is the ear sense, below it is the nose sense, below it is the tongue sense, and the body sense mostly abides below them, and the mind relies on them. The Compendium of Topics says: This is the order that is in accordance with worldly conventions. In the world, people first look at each other, and based on looking, they speak everywhere. After that, they enjoy bathing, applying perfume, and garlands. After that, they enjoy food and drink. After that, they fully enjoy bedding, cushions, and women. All of these are the discriminating mind, because the order of the internal realms also accomplishes the order of the external realms, just as when the row of six kings is arranged, the row of six queens is also arranged. They also accomplish the result, that is, the order of the consciousness realm, just as when the row of six kings is arranged, the row of six princes is also arranged. The order of the realms should also be understood as the order of the birthplaces, without any difference.
