I, it is said that there are six kinds arising from transformation. In Paṅkan, it is said that there are three kinds: fragrant, foul, and other than that. Regarding taste, all three treatises say that there are six: sweet, sour, salty, spicy, hot, bitter, and astringent. In the Abhidharmasamuccaya, it is said that in addition to those, there are three more: pleasant, unpleasant, and neither of those two, as well as innate ones, making twelve in total. Regarding tactile objects, the Abhidharmakośa and Paṅkan say that there are eleven: the four elements, smoothness, roughness, heaviness, lightness, cold, hunger, and thirst. The Abhidharmasamuccaya says that after setting aside the four elements, in addition to the latter seven, there are twenty-two: softness itself, laxity itself, non-laxity, satisfaction, having harm, being weak, fainting, itching, moving, being sick, aging, dying, fatigue, recovery, and being greatly accumulated. Regarding forms included in the dharma-sphere, the Abhidharmasamuccaya says that there are five: those arising from aggregation, those with manifest opportunity, those arising from correct acquisition, those that are imputed, and those that are independent. The first of these is the coarse form that, after being analyzed by the mind, is ultimately established by the mind as subtle particles. The second is space that has become blue, which is the object of mental consciousness. The third is non-revealing form; those three are imputed forms. The fourth is the form of skeletons and so on that appear in the meditation on unattractiveness. The fifth is the form of earth, water, and so on that appear in the cessation meditation; these two are the basis for something that can be a form by analyzing the object. Non-revealing form is considered by the Vaibhāṣikas to be the nature of form, and its nature is the difference in state, whether the mind is distracted or not, and it exists in all states of having or not having mind. The difference in essence is definitely either virtuous or non-virtuous. The difference in continuity is continuous connection. The difference in cause is that the four elements are taken as the cause, and it is considered to have four differences. The Sautrāntikas and above consider the revealing form of body and speech, and whatever arises from any meditation, to be the body whose own nature, motivation, and non-discriminating consciousness.

It is considered that the mental factor belonging to the activity of speech is mind. Regarding the nature of the aggregate of feeling, the Treasury states: There are five feelings: pleasure, pain, mental happiness, mental unhappiness, and equanimity. The first is: the experience of bliss arising from the sense consciousness of the first dhyana and below. In the third dhyana, there is the experience of bliss arising from the mind consciousness, so there are two. The second is: the experience of suffering arising from the sense consciousness. The third is: the experience of bliss arising from the mind consciousness, which is included in the realm below the second dhyana. The fourth is: the experience of suffering arising from the mind consciousness. The fifth is: the experience of neither pleasure nor pain, which exists in both sense consciousness and mind consciousness. In the Compendium of Topics, it is said: From the perspective of increasing the basis, there are six feelings such as feeling arising from eye contact; from the perspective of decreasing the basis, there are two feelings: body feeling and mind feeling; from the perspective of defilement and purification, there are two: defiled and undefiled; from the perspective of abandonment and realization of worldly detachment, there are two: attachment-dependent and manifestation-dependent. Each of these also has three aspects from the perspective of its nature: pleasure, pain, and equanimity. The Pan Kan says: It is divided into three: pleasure, pain, and equanimity. Regarding perception, the Treasury states: There are six perceptions such as perception arising from eye contact. In the Compendium of Topics, it is said: Based on these six, there are twelve perceptions: with characteristics, without characteristics, small, large, infinite, and nothingness. The Pan Kan says: There are three perceptions: small, large, and infinite. Regarding the nature of the aggregate of formations, all three treatises state: There are two: associated formations and non-associated formations. Regarding the nature of the aggregate of consciousness, the Treasury explicitly states: There are definitely six aggregates of consciousness. In the Compendium of Topics and the Pan Kan, it is divided into three: mind, intellect, and consciousness. Mind is the alaya consciousness, and intellect is the defiled.
