What is meant by 'ordinary being'? It is said that it is one who has not attained the noble dharmas. Because ordinary beings are not suitable for uncontaminated dharmas, and if there were uncontaminated dharmas that were not attained, then they would become conditioned uncontaminated dharmas, and thus would become the truth of the path. If this were the case, since children have not attained uncontaminated dharmas, it would be necessary to accept that the path has become manifest. So, is the one who has not attained any of the three vehicles' paths an ordinary being? If it is the Hearer's vehicle, then the latter two; if it is the Solitary Realizer's vehicle, then the former two; if it is the Great Vehicle, then would the former two become ordinary beings? The treatises generally state without distinction that it is the non-attainment of all uncontaminated dharmas. Then, is it necessary to utter the phrase 'only the path has not been attained'? No, because it is understood by the meaning. For example, like 'drinking water and eating wind.' Therefore, the Vaibhashikas consider the ordinary being itself or the person associated with it to be different, because the former is the substance of the aggregates, and the latter is considered to be the imputation of a person. Then, would the noble one and the person associated with him also be considered different? Yes, they are also considered different, because the former is the uncontaminated path included in the paths of seeing, meditation, and no-more-learning, and the latter is considered to be the imputation of a person. The Sutrantikas consider the continuum in which the noble path has not arisen to be an ordinary being, and the continuum in which the noble path has arisen to be a noble one, but they do not consider the former to be a person, because they consider it to be a non-associated formation. Are there attainments and non-attainments of what has been attained and what has not been attained? There are both of both. Then, would it become endless? No, it is not because they are mutually possessed. From the three of the dharma to be attained, its attainment, and the attainment of attainment, attainment causes the dharma to be attained and the attainment of attainment to be possessed. The attainment of attainment causes only attainment to be possessed. In its second moment, there are three attainments of these three, and three attainments of attainment, totaling nine. In the third moment, there are nine attainments of these nine, and nine attainments of those nine, totaling twenty-seven. In the fourth moment, it is considered that twenty-seven times three and so on will arise. The teacher considers this birth to be a feast of all attainments, having been satiated

Because there is no opportunity, this is how an opportunity is obtained; if it were not so, the second creature would not have the opportunity in the sky, thus refuting it. || "Acting as a cause and arising simultaneously." || In this case, there are five aspects to a cause: definition, example, classification, numerical certainty, and the definition of each classification. The first is: a substance that does not hinder the arising of other dharmas. The second is: all five objects of knowledge, that is, all existing substances that can be analyzed by reason are considered to be causes. The third is: acting as a cause, arising simultaneously, being of equal share, being in accordance, being pervasive, and the cause of fruition, there are six in total. The so-called "believing there are six" refers to when establishing the tenets of the Vaibhashikas, because the basis of correct summarization has disappeared, it shows that the six causes are complete. The sutra has disappeared, and the separately shown sutras are summarized as believing there are six. That is, the eye and form rely on the consciousness of the eye to arise, this is acting as a cause. These three limbs of the path follow the correct view, and the feelings, thoughts, and mind that arise simultaneously, this is the cause of arising simultaneously. From this root of virtue, other roots of virtue will arise, and if there is something small that transforms together, then this later will become a completely pure dharma, this is the cause of equal share. After being born, it corresponds to knowledge, this is the faith with the basis of the path of seeing, this is the corresponding cause. The actions of body, speech, and mind of a person with wrong views will become unwanted and disliked, etc., this is the pervasive cause. The karma of special thought, the fruition of thinking and accumulating, this shows the cause of fruition, these are all summarized together. The fourth is: why is it certain that there are six causes? From the perspective of the types of results, there are two types of causes: common causes and uncommon causes. The first is acting as a cause. The second type has two types: simultaneous causes and non-simultaneous causes. The first type is generally the cause of arising simultaneously, and the special one is the two types of corresponding causes. The second type has two types: the cause of producing similarity and the cause of producing dissimilarity. The first type is generally of equal share
