Some believe they are created by the chief, some by Ishvara, and some arise without cause. Refuting these views and explaining that they arise from contaminated actions is the fourth topic. From what does that action itself arise? It is said to arise from latent afflictions, which is the fifth topic. At the beginning of explaining latent afflictions, the classifications of what is abandoned by seeing and what is abandoned by meditation are explained. Finally, the way of abandoning through antidotes in general, and the result of abandoning, are also explained through scriptural proof. From the nature of the antidotes of seeing and meditation, to their objects, the Four Noble Truths, and the classifications of the Two Truths, and the way of entering that path, and the classifications of the individuals who abide in that path, and the classifications of the fruits to be obtained, are explained in order, which is the sixth topic. In the sixth topic, endurance, knowledge, and view are mentioned many times, from which the differences between endurance, knowledge, and view are derived. In particular, knowledge is divided into ten types, and the common and uncommon qualities included in knowledge are explained, which is the seventh topic. From these it is derived, then are there qualities not included in knowledge? The qualities not included in knowledge are the four dhyanas, the four formless realms, the four immeasurables, liberation, exhaustion, and subjugation, which are explained by the eighth topic. In the work composed by Pal Sherab Drak, it appears as follows: For those who desire liberation, the attainment of liberation, requires abandoning latent afflictions. To abandon latent afflictions, one must generate the antidote path. To generate the antidote path, one establishes reliance on the object. Therefore, one should know its object. The object is of two types: contaminated and uncontaminated dharmas. To reveal these two, the aggregates, sources, and elements, are well explained, which is the first treasury. In the treasury of explaining the elements, only the names of the faculties are mentioned. To extensively differentiate them, and to examine the rest in detail, and also in that treasury, the characteristics of conditioned dharmas, are separately proclaimed. The way these arise, the causes and conditions, and together with their results, to explain them well, in the treasury of explaining the faculties, it is explained below. In the treasury of the faculties, the mind and mental factors, and the distinctions of the faculties, are made certain in the three realms. Because the three realms are not explained, to reveal them, the treasury of explaining the world, is explained below. M

Based on erroneous sectarian views, beings think thus: If there is a cause of creation, an "I" exists, then the external and internal world, all kinds of worlds, will arise from it. If there is no creator, then from what do they arise? Doubts arise in the mind. Therefore, in order to eliminate these doubts, and through the Abhidharma to explain the Sutra Pitaka, in order to elucidate the karma arising from the Sutra Pitaka, through fruits with husks, etc., to show what is stated in the Vinaya Pitaka. After that, to show that the maturation of those such karmas, the maturation of the next life will surely be accomplished, caused by subtle increase. Therefore, in order to show the characteristics of subtle increase, the treasury of subtle increase like dragons, etc. After that, to show, from the treasury of subtle increase itself, through seeing and meditating, the meaning of the Four Noble Truths, the two, what is abandoned by the path of seeing and what is abandoned by the path of meditation, are successively explained as abandoning. Since the nature of the path of seeing and meditation itself is not shown, in order to show that itself, to show the treasury of persons. After that, to show, from the treasury of showing the path and persons itself, to explain the four kinds of knowledge. In order to explain their differences in detail, to show the treasury of wisdom. After that, to show, from the treasury of wisdom itself, to the Tathagata, to show two kinds of qualities: common qualities and uncommon qualities. The common qualities are: wish-wisdom without afflictions, individual correct knowledge, four kinds of knowledge, supernormal knowledge, formless meditations, immeasurable liberations, cessation, etc. In order to show those, to show the treasury of meditative absorptions. After that, to show. Thus it is said. The explanation of the structure of the preliminary tiger-striped treatise is completed. Now, the usual chapter division, like the four gaits of a tortoise, will be explained. This has three parts: the meaning of the translator's introduction, the meaning of the author's treatise, the meaning of the completed translation's conclusion. The first part has two: the meaning of the title... India. The salutation of the translation... Manjushri. The second part has three: the branch of entering the meaning of the treatise, the meaning of the treatise, explaining the object of the Abhidharma, the meaning of the treatise, the completely perfect action. The first part has four: homage... who. Vow to explain... Abhidharma.
