Whatever is made is pervaded by impermanence, like a pot. The statement that sound is also made directly shows that sound is impermanent, which is too much. Furthermore, if the establishment argument that establishes that a pot is impermanent by the sign of being made is correct, then the establishment argument that establishes that sound is impermanent by the sign of being made must be incorrect, because the established that establishes that a pot is impermanent by the sign of being made is established, and the established that establishes that sound is impermanent by the sign of being made must be unestablished. If you accept, then accept it. The statement that whatever is made is pervaded by impermanence, like lightning, is the subject. For that reason, the exclusion of the sign is accepted. It is not the same for oneself, because the opponent does not state the pervasion in the statement, but only arbitrarily states the pervasion, so it is not considered a correct establishment argument. Also, some later Tibetans believe that it is unreasonable to only state the pervasion in the establishment argument, because "any of the three ways, not showing is incomplete," because it is said. If so, then "for the wise, only the reason is stated," if it contradicts, if you ask. It is not contradictory, because the meaning of that is in the Treatise on the Treasury of Reasoning, when the opponent says, "Whatever is made is pervaded by impermanence, like a pot," it is said because the previous debater said, "Sound is also made," it is unreasonable to say that, because is that kind of statement of the previous debater a correct establishment argument? Or not? If it is the former, then it contradicts the acceptance, and if it is the latter, then that kind of previous debater must say to that kind of opponent, "Whatever is made is pervaded by impermanence, like a pot," because he must establish the correct establishment argument for that, because of that acceptance. If, the statements of both that kind of previous debater and opponent are added together to be a correct establishment argument, then that is very unreasonable, if it is a correct establishment argument, it must be the statement of the previous debater, and the opponent himself does not have an establishment argument for himself, and if both the debater and the opponent add up to establish the establishment argument, then the witness is too much the object of establishing the establishment argument, because there is such a fault. Second, the opponent changes into three because of the difference in wisdom, that is, both the pervasion and the property of the subject cannot be remembered, and both have been remembered.

Even if one can remember, one has not remembered. Among these, the first two are not objects for stating arguments, because in the first case, even if an argument is stated, it cannot generate inference. In the second case, because the actual cause of inference is complete, there is no need for an argument. The third case includes three situations: both pervasion and property are able to be remembered but are not remembered; the property is remembered but the pervasion is not remembered; and the pervasion is remembered but the property is not remembered. In the first case, there are two arguments: arguments of similar connection and arguments of dissimilar connection. In the second case, if the property is explicitly stated, then "Whatever is produced is pervaded by impermanence, like a pot," which is a case of stating only the subsequent pervasion. Or, "Whatever is permanent is pervaded by being unproduced, like space," which is a case of stating only the reverse pervasion. In the third case, if the pervasion is explicitly stated, then "Sound is also produced," which is an argument with only the property. For example, using the reason of being produced to prove that sound is impermanent, this kind of argument, depending on the opponent, can become five correct arguments. This is the view of Jamyang Lama. Third, refuting the dispute: Some say that it is unreasonable because it is harmed by both scripture and reason. First, in the Commentary on Valid Cognition, it says, "Any one of the three aspects, if not indicated, is said to be incomplete." And in the Compendium on Valid Cognition, it says, "If any one of the three aspects is not stated, it will become a fault of incomplete proof, and the meaning of this statement should be understood." This is harmful. The reason is: the correct sign of property alone and pervasion alone exists, because such a correct argument exists. To this, scripture does not harm, because the meaning of scripture is that all three aspects are stated in either a direct or indirect way. If, other than that, it is necessary to state directly, then the argument of similar connection should also become a subject, and not be a correct argument, because all three aspects are not stated directly. If the argument of property alone becomes a subject, the argument of property alone is not a correct argument, because all three aspects are stated, then the second part of the language should also become a subject, and not be possessing two language parts, because all three aspects are stated, and it is the same in all aspects. Then, in the case of property alone, the pervasion is stated indirectly.
