If one needs something stronger than cold touch, one must explicitly state "because hot touch is very powerful." Some say that one must also add "very powerful" to the dharma to be established, because it cannot be established by merely lacking cold touch, because that basis has cold touch, because that basis has a cluster of eight substances. This statement does not distinguish between upper and lower tenets, because no Sutra school treatise has ever explained the classification of a cluster of eight substances. Moreover, in the Abhidharmasamuccaya, in the section on the Sutra school, it is said that in any cluster, if the dust of the four elements is observed by measurement, then it exists, and if it is not observed by measurement, then it does not exist. The self-view is: Although the treatises explain many classifications, only the first twelve can be refuted. As stated in the treatise, the self-commentary of the first chapter mentions eight, the Pramāṇaviniścaya mentions ten, and the Tarka-jñāna mentions eleven, but they are all included in the twelve, because there are four contradictory nature objects, four contradictory result objects, and four contradictory pervasive objects. The first four are the nature object of contradictory nature, the nature object of contradictory cause, the nature object of contradictory result, and the nature object of contradictory pervasion, respectively: The east, which is dominated by fire, is the subject of the proposition. It does not have continuous cold touch, nor does it produce cold touch, nor is it the real cause of cold touch, nor does it have the continuous touch of snow, because it is an object dominated by fire. The latter four are the result object of contradictory nature, the result object of contradictory cause, the result object of contradictory result, and the result object of contradictory pervasion, respectively: The east, which is dominated by strong smoke, is the subject of the proposition. The dharma to be established is the same, because it is an object dominated by strong smoke. The last four are the pervasive object of contradictory nature, the pervasive object of contradictory cause, the pervasive object of contradictory result, and the pervasive object of contradictory pervasion, respectively: The east, which is dominated by sandalwood fire, is the subject of the proposition. The dharma to be established is the same, because it is an object dominated by sandalwood fire. Therefore,

It is necessary to mention that the dharma to be proven has permanence, otherwise, there would be the fault that there should be no feeling of cold in the first moment of feeling cold. If it is said that it is the same for things that have permanence, it is not the same, because the thing that is desired is overwhelmed by the fire, and by the power of valid cognition, the determined thing becomes the reason, therefore, it does not exist in the first moment of feeling hot and cold. Third, regarding the establishment, there are three: determining the three aspects, determining the number, and the necessity of declaring. First, the subject-property is established by direct perception. The pervasion relation is actually that the reason does not exist together with the dharma to be negated, and it is determined to be contradictory, and finally it is determined by relying on the relation of one entity. Because all the reasons for contradictory determination ultimately similarly negate the object to be negated through the gate of non-observation by valid cognition. Second, some say that the thick smoke of sandalwood can prevent the nature of four kinds of cold sensations, and the pervasive result that contradicts this, including the four kinds of observation, etc., so it will become sixteen kinds. This is a child's statement, the thick smoke can prevent, it is assumed that the smoke is seen without seeing the fire, if the fire of sandalwood is not determined, the smoke of sandalwood is not determined. At that time, the fire of sandalwood becomes the reason, not the smoke of sandalwood becomes the reason. Therefore, these four are also unreasonable, and the four that establish the real cause of heat touch as the reason are also unreasonable, so the number is determined to be twelve. Third, if the wisdom of realizing selflessness arises, it can prevent self-grasping, and in order to eliminate self-grasping, the wisdom of realizing selflessness must arise, this is to understand this. Second, regarding the correct contradictory determination reason that relies on mutual exclusion and contradiction, there are three: definition, classification, and establishment. First, some say: What is the correct contradictory determination reason regarding that aspect? It is also the dharma to be negated in that aspect, and it is also the common basis of existence that is mutually exclusive and contradictory to you, this statement is unreasonable. Because, what has been done is to establish that sound is not a permanent entity, relying on the correct contradictory determination reason of mutual exclusion and contradiction. The self-system is: What is the correct contradictory determination reason? It must rely on mutual exclusion and contradiction to determine its own pervasion relation. Second, regarding determining reality.
