The so-called "fruit of valid cognition of understanding" refers to the general fruit of valid cognition, which is the measurement of blue objects. Among them, knowledge that is free from conceptualization and error is valid cognition. The so-called "perceptual fruit" refers to the fruit of perception, which is the measurement of sound being impermanent. The knowledge that clings to sound being impermanent based on its own basis, the correct reason, is valid cognition. The subsequent inference that realizes sound being impermanent is the fruit of valid cognition, which is the fruit of subsequent inference. Here, since it is the time to discuss the fruit of sense-consciousness perception, its fruit of valid cognition is: measuring blue objects. The apprehended aspect that truly arises from blue, appears as the form of blue, and does not newly deceive with respect to blue is valid cognition. The fruit of sense-consciousness perception arises from taking blue as the apprehended object. It is said that this definition is also a meaning that possesses the same meaning and three characteristics. Among them, the classifications of the general valid cognition, perception, and the fruit of valid cognition of subsequent inference are all unreasonable, because taking the names and signs of these three as the fruit of valid cognition, and merely adding the measured object separately, this kind of discourse on the fruit of valid cognition is meaningless. The fruit of sense-consciousness perception is also unreasonable, because taking not newly deceiving as the definition is not the focus of the moment. Even if it is, since there is no term "valid cognition" in the object to be expressed, there is no need for this term in the definition. Moreover, there is also the fault of repetition between the appearance of the form and the apprehended aspect. There is no difference in certainty or difficulty between truly arising from blue and arising from taking blue as the apprehended object. Moreover, here is the time when sense-consciousness perception takes understanding the meaning as the fruit, not the time when taking arising from taking blue as the apprehended object as the fruit. It is also unreasonable to think that this definition is a meaning that possesses the same meaning and three characteristics, although truly arising from blue and the appearance of the blue form can be taken as the first two characteristics, the apprehended aspect that does not newly deceive with respect to blue cannot be taken as the meaning of the last characteristic. The second part has three points: the classification of the apprehended and the apprehender of the two Hearer schools, the uncommon vows of the Sutra school, and the actual situation of the fruit of valid cognition that is being discussed. In the first point, the view of the Vaibhashika school is: In the "Compendium of the Essence of Wisdom", it says:

Both space and cessation are pure, the three unconditioned are permanent. All conditioned things are empty of self, there is no agent, only moments. The mind born from the eye has no form, manifest consciousness is a collection of particles. The one called 'Intelligent' is from Kashmir, explained in the Vaibhashika teachings. The meaning of what is said is: all five objects of knowledge are established as real, among which there are two kinds of real entities: permanent and impermanent. The three unconditioned are permanent entities, and the five aggregates of conditioned phenomena are impermanent. Moreover, I am empty of all, because there is no self of a different entity and no self that is the nature. There is no agent such as Ishvara, because it arises only from its own cause. It is impermanent because it arises and ceases in an instant. Conceptual appearance of object does not appear to the sense consciousness, and the direct perception known by the sense consciousness, that appears at its own time, is a collection of particles, which is the meaning of external objects. According to this system, there are three ways in which an object is apprehended, a subject apprehends, and a subject apprehends an object. The first is: the five objects such as form. The second is: the five senses and all mental factors are subjects. The colored sense sees and hears objects, but the sense consciousness does not see objects, because even if there are obstacles, it would still see. The sense consciousness focuses on objects, but the colored sense does not focus on objects, because it would become conceptual. The third is: just as a lodestone attracts iron, the sense consciousness apprehends the five objects without form, naked, simultaneously, encountering and grasping. Therefore, the establishment of valid cognition and its result in this system is that the real object of form, etc., which is encountered without form, is the object to be measured. The colored sense that sees the object is valid cognition. The sense consciousness that understands the nature of the object is the result, so the three - valid cognition, result, and object to be measured - are simultaneous and distinct entities. The view of the Sautrantika school is, as stated in that very text: Seeing is not the object of the senses, but a consciousness with an image arises. Space is like the child of a barren woman, cessation is like space. Conditioned matter does not exist, nor do they accept the three times. Saying that accumulated form is not non-existent, are the wise ones of the Sautrantika. Thus it is said, its
