If you say that it can be refuted by pointing out the valid cognition that harms the purity of self, it is not so. Even if you know that the object to be measured is not the sign that establishes it, you still have doubts about whether the object to be measured is permanent or impermanent. A mind without mental speculation and without realizing decisive knowledge, is not different from direct perception that is uncertain about appearances. Therefore, all kinds of non-valid cognitions are included in the three: non-realization, mistaken knowledge, and doubt. This is called the concluding verse. The explanation of the cognitive mind is finished. The third is that there are four ways in which the mind realizes objects: the way of realizing the general and the particular, the way of realizing appearance and elimination, the way of realizing the expressible and the expressive, and the way of realizing contradiction and relation. The first has two parts: a general explanation of the classification of objects and subjects, and a special analysis of the way of realizing the general and the particular. The first is that self-character, clarity, thing, substance, elimination, and ultimate truth are the same in the meaning of thing, because they have the ability to function, exist without being mixed with each other, are composed of cause and effect, and are the objects of entering and returning that all individuals should accept and reject. Appearance also does not depend on others, therefore, it is distinguishing, it is the meaning of itself. That is eliminated from others. That is the explanation of cause and effect. That is the establishment of one's own character. That is because it has the fruit of acceptance and rejection, therefore, it is the entry of all individuals. Because it is said so. If it is said that it is elimination, substance, and thing, then it does not pervade self-character, because there is also the saying "returning from others" and "eliminating from others", and the saying "saying substance and thing to all". If you ask this, there is no fault, because there are two cases where elimination, substance, and thing, etc., which exist in the words of the scripture, exist in meaning and become the object of elimination. General characteristic, general, other elimination, return, determination, mixture, relation, and convention are the same in that they cannot function, because they do not abide in meaning, are not the object of sense perception, are imputed by conceptual thought, and are established by the conceptual thought of other elimination without establishing their own nature. The general is the nature of non-existence. Therefore, it is not the object of sense perception. And, therefore, other elimination has the object of

etc. And "because of the absence of inherent existence of the opposite" etc. And "established as expressing distinctions" etc. And "when deciding on one meaning in a mixture" etc. From the Examination of Relations: "Therefore, all things do not have a true connection." Because it is said. Thus, the self-character etc. mentioned earlier, and the general etc. are the object, and conceptual and non-conceptual are the object-possessor, and appearance and elimination should be understood as the manner of grasping. Secondly, there are three: definition, division, and establishment. First, some say that the definition of the general is: its own distinctions are not established; the definition of the distinction is: you are that dharma, you are related to that dharma as one entity, and it is not established that you are not that but are that dharma. This assertion is self-contradictory. According to the definition of the general, it seems that it must be admitted that only two of its own distinctions are established as the general. According to the definition of the distinction, if it is the general, then it seems that it must be admitted that three of its own distinctions are necessarily established. Because, when holding one distinction as the basis, the latter part of the definition of the distinction must be established. Therefore, this has no essence, and if real faults are abandoned, it will become a naked exposure, but how can I say such a thing? Therefore, the key to not being mistaken is that the definition of the general is a common appearance of imputation. The divisions are: genus general, meaning general, and collection general. The definition of the first is: in relation to its own clear aspects, it is an imputation that appears as a single reversal that reverses from different genera. For example, in the conceptualization of grasping a vase, the clear aspects of the vase appear to be reversed from what is not a vase. The definition of the second is: an imputation that is confused as appearing constant and one. For example, in the conceptualization of grasping a vase, it appears as a vase, and it is imputed to the external vase. The definition of the third is: an imputation that appears as coarse in the aggregation of many particles. For example, it is imputed to a vase in the aggregation of eight particles. The definition of the distinction is: an imputation that appears as a collection of two reversals that reverse from different genera and also from similar genera. For example, in the conceptualization of grasping wood, it is an imputation that appears as flesh. Therefore, if it is a distinction of that dharma, then that dharma
