Because it is so, because the basis is established, it is successively acknowledged. Secondly, the object of measurement is not a general characteristic, because the valid means of cognition is not inference. According to the pervasiveness of this proof, this belongs to the category of actual acknowledgment. Thirdly, the person, the subject of debate, is a noble being, because it is either a birth or a noble being, because it is not an ordinary being. If one of these is not established, then for that person, the number of births and noble beings is uncertain and the same. Sentient beings, the subject of debate, are in a lower realm, because it is either a lower realm or a higher realm, because it is not a higher realm. And so on, endlessly. Therefore, fearing that it would harm the definite number of valid cognitions, acknowledging valid cognition as direct perception is even worse than the non-Buddhists. Because the non-Buddhists either say that if inference as a valid cognition is not established as a basis, then if it is a valid cognition, it is pervaded by direct perception, or they consider the valid cognition that does not belong to either direct perception or inference, such as the wisdom that realizes that color is impermanent and the wisdom that recognizes the perception of differences, as a third aggregate of valid cognition. From this perspective, it seems to raise objections to the definite number of valid cognitions, and because no one has ever raised objections to the definite number of valid cognitions by grasping valid cognition in general. Who are you, a heretic that even glorious Dharmakirti could not refute? According to my view, the former opponent, glorious Dharmakirti, and the later opponents, such as the logicians and the Vaisheshikas, when those realized opponents make statements about the definite number, holding the pervasiveness of the definite number is the intention of the doctrine. Those people, without any limit to their mental focus, cling to the mere words, and do not engage in the process of refutation and establishment, but rather grasp such characteristics and engage in refutation and establishment regarding whether or not they are included in the definite number of valid cognitions. Nowadays, when children make a definite number of divisions for a single basis of division, they ask which division the basis of division is included in. For these people, it is necessary to say for the time being that if it is a valid cognition, then it is not pervaded by either direct perception or inference. At that time, even if it is not pervaded by either one substance or different substances if it is established as a substance, the faults of refutation after analyzing the general clarity, one substance, and different substances above do not apply to oneself, because others consider that tree to be a generality that follows all clear trees, and it is established as a substance.

It is also acknowledged as a common ground for being the same. Although I acknowledge wood as a substance, I do not universally acknowledge following all the appearances of wood. Regarding this, the way the opponent, the one who understands, establishes it is the same as before. Furthermore, some say that all the general appearances based on objects are one substance, but those who are prohibited from having a general appearance as one substance in the scriptures do not match themselves, because others, like "not having a later part," acknowledge that there is no general part, so it must be admitted that the two general appearances are indivisible substances, and it has already been admitted, so that is prohibited, but it is not merely prohibited that the two general appearances are one substance. Some say that it is prohibited that the two are an inseparable substance. Some say that it is prohibited that the two are an easily established substance, and a coextensive substance, and a coextensive substance. There are these five sayings. Among them, for the first saying, the indivisible of the atomic direction, the subject, becomes one substance with the blue atom and the indivisible substance. Whatever is the indivisible of the direction is one substance with it. For the second saying, does the meaning of an inseparable substance refer to the inseparability of substances? Or does it refer to the inseparability of differences? If according to the former, wood, the subject, becomes an inseparable substance with Shapa. Whatever is one substance with Shapa, if it is one substance, it must be an inseparable substance. If according to the latter, the two are inseparable in difference, even non-Buddhists do not acknowledge it, so prohibiting that is meaningless. If according to the third saying, what does the meaning of an easily established substance refer to? The answer is: Whatever is one substance, it is what arises and ceases simultaneously. Then, wood, the subject, becomes an easily established substance with Shapa. Whatever is one substance with it is what arises and ceases simultaneously with it. If it is not established, wood, the subject, becomes you are permanent. You are a substance simultaneous with Shapa, because when Shapa is destroyed, you remain without being destroyed. Therefore, those who acknowledge that one substance does not pervade an easily established substance must acknowledge permanent entities, because now they acknowledge that two entities exist in one substance, and in the second moment, one is destroyed and the other remains. If the iron lump becomes red-hot, the iron particles and the fire particles are one substance
