It is like this. You are related to that dharma as one entity. If it is said that you are not that dharma, but many things that are that dharma are established, it is considered self-contradictory. According to the general definition, it seems that it is also necessary to acknowledge that only two differences of oneself are established, which is also general. According to the definition of difference, if it is general, it seems necessary to acknowledge that three differences of oneself must be established. Because, when one difference is taken as the basis of the example, the latter part of the definition of difference must be established. Therefore, this is meaningless, and if the actual fault is pointed out, it will become naked, but how can I say such a thing? Therefore, the key to not being mistaken is that the general definition is a common appearing imputation. Differentiated, there are three types: class general, meaning general, and collection general. The definition of the first type: the imputation that appears as a single reversal, which, in relation to its own appearances, is reversed from different classes. For example, in the conceptual thought that grasps a pot, the appearance of the pot is the imputation that appears as reversed from things that are not pots. The definition of the second type: the imputation of mistaking appearances as permanent and one. For example, in the conceptual thought that grasps a pot, it appears as a pot, but it is imputed as an external pot. The definition of the third type: the imputation of many dust particles appearing as coarse. For example, eight dust particles are gathered and imputed as a pot. The definition of difference: the imputation that appears as a collection of two reversals, which are reversed from different classes and similar classes. For example, in the conceptual thought that grasps a tree, it is the imputation that appears as a leaf. Therefore, if it is a difference of that dharma, it is not pervasive of that dharma. For example, the meaning general of the leaf that appears in the conceptual thought that grasps a tree is a difference in relation to the tree general, but it is not the tree general. If you are the general of that dharma, it is also not pervasive that that dharma is you. For example, the reversal of a tree is the tree general, but the tree is not the reversal of the tree. The difference is also established on imputation, which seems to be the view of this great being. As it says in the Commentary on Valid Cognition: Those meanings that exist in consciousness, thus have the nature of reversal. Therefore, in non-otherness and the like, it also appears as reversed from others, therefore for that is general, and those who have a common object of support.

In the Treasury of Spoken Meaning and Reasoning, it says, "That which distinguishes from other and self objects is the general and the particular." Therefore, it is to make the particular and the basis the same, with the same meaning. Then, aren't the statements "If separated from one, there is no result, therefore they arise from the particulars" and "Therefore, the particular and the general dharma are different, hence they are the sign and the possessor of the sign" contradictory? The former refers to the word "particular" in the literal meaning of the text, taking some of its terms to refer to self-character, just as some terms for "substance" and "object" refer to exclusion. The latter means that the two terms, the accomplished measure as the sign and the accomplished measure as the dharma (subject), are the general and the particular, and that the three, the sign, dharma, and meaning of the accomplished measure, are imputed, which will be explained below. Second, regarding the divisions, it is said that there are direct general and particular, and higher-level general and particular. These should also be understood in the context of the meaning of the text, how they are established in the appearance of conceptual thought. Third, regarding the three, refutation, establishment, and abandonment, the first has two: refutation by reasoning and refutation by scripture. The first has three: refuting the view that the general is a different substance from the appearance, refuting the view that the general is the same substance as the appearance, and refuting other schools that hold the general to be non-existent. The first is that the Vaisheshika says: The existence of the great general itself, and the general of the near-separated cow itself, etc., pervade their own appearances, are different substances from their own appearances, are permanent, partless, and exist connected to the appearances by something like a rope, just as many cows are connected and tied with one rope. They say that this itself is also the cause of a single word-concept applying to all appearances. To refute this, much is said in the text, but the main reasoning is: The appearance of wood, as the subject, your general, which is a different substance from you, does not exist, because it is an appearance-possible but not observed by valid cognition. The second includes: stating the view of the Samkhya school, stating the view of the Ganges school, which is similar to it, and refuting both together. The first includes two: stating the names of the founders of the school, and the system of the school that he spoke of. The first is: the former progenitor, with a lifespan of twenty thousand years,
