This is to show that perception and inference differ in their objects. For example, the term "moon with a rabbit" cannot be used because it is not the object of perception and inference. This is to show that to prove this, there is no correct sign of the power entering the object. Because all the reasons for proving it are reasons without similar examples, it is to show that there is no inference based on it. The Commentary on Valid Cognition also says, "Or in worldly expression." etc. Similarly, the Treatise on Reasoning Treasure says, "The former, fame arising from sound, is not refuted because there is no inference? Or it has no opponent, therefore it is certainly a harmer. The latter, from the inference of fame, shows the difference of objects. If you understand it this way, eliminating fame accomplishes the intention of the wise." It is said. Fifth, the necessity of mentioning self-reliance. So, when explaining the fundamental difference of elimination, what is the necessity of saying "self-reliance"? There are three necessities: To know that harming the subject that is the basis of other dharmas does not harm the present thesis, but harming the present subject that is the basis of the thesis harms the present thesis. To eliminate the wrong idea that only harming the thesis harms the thesis. And to eliminate the wrong idea that harming unrelated other dharmas harms the present thesis. If you want to know what the latter wrong idea is like, for example, the Vaisheshika school believes that space is a permanent substance, and the Buddhists say: Space, dharma, is not a permanent substance, because it cannot produce its own results simultaneously. They say. The opponent says: This reason harms that space is a permanent substance, so it harms space objects. Harming it harms the subject space. In this way, it will harm the thesis proving that space is not a permanent substance. The answer is: Harming space objects does not harm space, because the two are not related. Also, to the statement that harming the present subject harms the thesis, the Samkhya school says: When you Buddhists prove that happiness etc. are not permanent substances, if you establish the sign that it cannot produce its own results simultaneously, then

If it is said that because the emptiness of function becomes a sign, it will harm happiness and other things, thereby harming impermanence, then the pervasion will be contradictory. Answer: There is no fault. If the emptiness of function becomes a sign, it will be like that, but because the gradual generation of self-result becomes a sign, the pervasion is not contradictory, because there is no contradiction between this and impermanence. In short, the "Compendium on Valid Cognition" says "Direct perception object" etc., although it shows that the basis of harm by direct perception, such as sound, is the sound of its own nature, but the basis of harm by inference from power, credibility, and fame is the object of knowledge and desire of those three correct signs. Second, there are three explanations of the meaning of the pledge to negate the differences of dharmas, etc.: the way it is said in the sutras, the way it is explained in the commentaries, and the determination of the intention of these. First, the sutra says: "Direct perception object" etc., at the beginning of the root and commentary, it immediately shows that this is also just a way to eliminate the contradiction of the nature of the dharma itself. Moreover, it should be understood that from this aspect, the difference between dharma and the qualified dharma, and the nature of the qualified dharma itself can also be eliminated. For example, the whole with limbs is not other than the limbs, because it does not hold the inferior difference. The limbs are not other than the whole with limbs, because it would become non-direct perception. Substance is not existent, because qualities and substances etc. would become substance and non-substance. Similarly, saying that all words are of false meaning means that words and the nature of words are of false meaning, and whatever word exists is false. If words and falsehood are all eliminated, then the self-nature of both will be eliminated. If the self-nature of words is eliminated by falsehood, then the difference between the two will be revealed. Second, "this also" etc. is a summary of the previous introduction. The meaning from "from this aspect" to "should be understood" is explained by one verse "By this, the established limb". The meaning from "for example" onwards is explained from "the meaning of this is to show" to "other examples should also be understood".
