Three. First, it is established that the very assertion itself can actually eliminate that assertion, mainly because it has a well-known contradiction. Second, it is like the object of attachment to the assertion that one asserts that "the term 'moon with a rabbit' cannot be expressed." Third, there are three points regarding the necessity of explaining the refutation of fame, explaining the refutation of fame that has necessity, and analyzing the intention of the two ways of explaining. The first point is that grammarians think that the expressive sound has direct power over the object, so whatever has a relationship between the expressed and the expressive can be expressed, otherwise it cannot. And logicians think that the relationship between sound and meaning is established by its own nature, so the expressive sound can only establish a relationship with one meaning. In order for people to understand that the refutation of fame applies to these views. Second, it is divided into three parts: the eliminator, the eliminated, and the method of elimination. The first part is divided into four points: the definition of fame, the example, the analysis of the real and imputed fame, and the analysis of the real and imputed eliminator. The first point is that the expression established in worldly norms is the terminology of words. The second point is that if we distinguish without distinguishing between real and imputed, then as the scripture says, "Fame is also the words of people." Therefore, the expressive sound is set as fame. Dharmakirti believes that fame is a conceptualization with terminology as its object, that is, a deep consciousness of conceptualization. Therefore, the conceptualization of the object is set as fame. As the scripture says, "The meaning that contradicts the fame arising from words." Therefore, the expressible thing is set as fame. There are three kinds. The third point is that word is the nature of fame, while conceptualization and expressible things are imputed fame. Both of these have reasons to be established as such. The first is the cause of the nature of fame, and the latter is the result of the nature of fame. It is necessary to establish a false name, because through these two, it can be understood that fame can harm harm. For real things, the harmer is not the nature of fame, because it is not a word. The fourth point is that the imputed fame is the nature of the eliminator, and the nature of fame is the imputed eliminator. However, the subsequent inference of fame is the nature of the eliminator. The second point is that the grammarian says: All dharmas are subjects, expressed by the word "moon"

It is unspeakable because there is no reason to explain the sound, and there is no connection between existence and speakability, like the object of adherence to a vow. Or, as it is said in the scriptures, "For worldly speech, there is speech without inference." Therefore, all things cannot be expressed by the word "moon" through the power of fame, but can be expressed through the power of reality, both of which are clearly shown to be the exclusion of fame. Because for anything uncommon, there is no inference. The meaning is that there is no correct example to prove that it is unspeakable by the word "moon with a rabbit" through the power of fame, so there is no correct sign of proof. And, in order to prove that it can be spoken through the power of reality, there is also no correct example, so it shows that there is no correct sign of proof. However, both of these refer to the fact that all things cannot be expressed by the word "moon," which is the same in the sense of the exclusion of fame. By proving that the word "moon with a rabbit" can be expressed through the power of reality, it is proved that it does not apply to a pot. Because the word "a pot is a moon" cannot be expressed, this is the exclusion of fame. Third, the inference of fame is the indirect exclusion through the word "moon with a rabbit" that cannot be expressed, and its object can be expressed by direct exclusion. Is there any direct contradiction between these two? Because the former has a valid measure of proof. What is it like? Among them, there are two types: proving that the object is suitable, and proving that the one with the object is suitable. The first is that if anything that appears in cognition can be expressed by an arbitrary word. For example, things with branches and leaves that appear in cognition can be expressed by the word "tree." Saying "the moon with a rabbit is also the same" is an example of the combination of Dharmottara's fame sign. The second is that if anything follows the convention, then it can be applied to all things. For example, just like cognition that is free to do as it pleases. Saying that the word "moon" and other arbitrary words are also the same is an example of the combination of Devendrabuddhi's fame sign. Third, analyzing the intentions of the two explanations. The Pramāṇasūtra says, for anything uncommon...
