The complete explanation has been made, which was previously unimaginable to others. Secondly, in terms of conventional language, the explanation of the meaning of the root text and commentary, which presents object cognition as the result, is as follows: "When consciousness is the object," etc., there are three verses. The first verse states that in conventional language, external objects are the object to be measured, the appearance is the valid cognition, and the second valid cognition and result of the Mind-Only school, which considers object cognition as the result, is shown. In the commentary of the deity, it says: "Therefore, that which is similar to the object is valid cognition, and experiencing the object is the result, thus the second distinction is explained." This is the second in relation to the previous valid cognition and result of self-awareness, so it is established in the Mind-Only school. In the commentary on "Experience itself is the result," the deity says: "If that is the case, the appearance of what is grasped is the object to be measured, and experiencing oneself is the result, and the appearance of what is grasped is what establishes it, so in the absence of an object, this distinction of result is unique." "When the part of knowledge is the object," etc., one verse shows that although there is no external object in the meaning of the valid cognition and result itself, it also shows the proof that external objects are the object to be measured in conventional language. In this regard, the deity's commentary says: "Appearing as an object is a term called emptiness of objects." It is for applying the conventional term of object to the appearance of what is grasped. "If these are all desires," etc., one verse shows that in conventional language, the appearance of what is grasped is valid cognition and object cognition is the result, which is also the view of the Mind-Only school. In this regard, the deity's commentary says: "This is explaining the distinction of the result of Mind-Only." Some Indians and Tibetans, not understanding that in the Mind-Only school there is no external object in meaning but it exists in conventional language, think that this first verse summarizes the meaning of the first valid cognition and result, which is a misunderstanding of the deity's intention. Because all three verses equally show object cognition as the result, the latter two verses will also become summarizing the meaning of the first valid cognition and result, which contradicts the commentary mentioned above. The third part has three aspects: refuting the valid cognition and result of the Sutra school, establishing the valid cognition and result of the Mind-Only school, and the actual valid cognition and result established thereby.
