Fourth, it has already been explained in the context of refuting others. Fifth, there are two types of conceptualization: meaning-combining conceptualization and sound-combining conceptualization. The first is to grasp by combining the base of difference and the characteristic of difference, such as the mind that grasps "this person has a stick." This has two types: conceptualization that combines genus, etc., and conceptualization of relationship. The first is like "difference and the base of difference," etc., and the latter is like what is taught in the context of "sense consciousness does not have the grasping of union," etc. The second is to grasp by combining the name of the time of convention and the meaning of the time of terminology, such as what is taught in the context of "caused by the memory of convention," etc. Second, regarding what appears like non-conceptual direct perception, there are two aspects: showing one's own system's explanation and refuting other systems' explanations. The first has the definition: non-conceptual erroneous consciousness. The divisions are two types: sense consciousness error and mind consciousness error. The first is like the sense consciousness of hair falling illusion, which is shown by "apparently direct perception with dizziness." The second is like the consciousness of clear appearance in a dream, which is shown by "when asleep or awake, whatever mind has a clear appearance, that is said to be non-conceptual." Furthermore, according to the way of arising of mind direct perception, if the first moment of the sense consciousness of the appearance of two moons acts as the immediate condition and the dominant condition, and at the same time, one moon acts as the objective condition, then it seems necessary to accept that the mind consciousness of the appearance of two moons arises. Second, some commentators on the sutras say that "apparently direct perception with dizziness" does not show non-conceptual direct perception, because "consciousness without conceptualization is direct perception" has already stated that consciousness without conceptualization is the definition of direct perception. Therefore, that treatise considers that the consciousness of the appearance of two moons and hair falling is mind conceptualization, so it is showing conceptual direct perception. However, the necessity of distinguishing conceptualization from apparent direct perception is to dispel the wrong conceptualization that these are consciousnesses with clear appearance, so they are non-conceptual. To refute this, there are two types: scriptural evidence and reasoning. The first is that when Master Vasubandhu refutes that the atoms of the Hearers are the objects of sense consciousness, elsewhere

Then, the colored sense faculties are also the cause of the consciousness that appears as blue and the double moon, etc., which contradicts what was said. Secondly, there are two types of refutation: refutation by reasoning that starts the same way and refutation by being too extreme. The first is: Whatever depends on the sense faculty, if what. etc., to show. Secondly, there are four types of being too extreme: not following the self-cause sense faculty's corruption, being too extreme in that speech arises dependent on sound, being too extreme in that grasping one's own object depends on convention, and being too extreme in that one's own object does not appear clearly. These four should be understood in the text itself. The apparent perception has been explained. Explanation of valid cognition and its result Thirdly, the result of valid cognition is twofold: how the result of valid cognition arises, and the classification of the result of valid cognition that arises from it. The first has two parts: refutation and establishment. The first is: Some say that for objects to be taken and abandoned, entering is the main thing, and because the objects are different, the understanding of the mind is different. In this context, the scriptures on the result of valid cognition arose to explain the latter of the two results of valid cognition, the determined and the undetermined. Although the way the result of valid cognition is derived from the Commentary on Valid Cognition is acceptable, the way the result of valid cognition is derived from the Sutra still needs to be sought, so it is not reasonable. Some say that valid cognition is infallible, knowledge. In this context, the scriptures on the result of valid cognition arose to realize that the newly arisen infallible knowledge is the definition of valid cognition, because these scriptures establish that valid cognition and the object to be measured are not different entities, thus establishing that valid cognition knows the object to be measured. By establishing it, it is established that it is infallible with respect to the object to be measured. This leads to the realization of the definition as complete. This is also unreasonable, as it does not go beyond the previous faults, and it is not the meaning of the present context to take the knowledge of the object to be measured as the proof and the infallibility of the object to be measured as the thing to be proven. Secondly, according to the Sutra, direct perception and inference are valid cognition, the two measure definitions. And, in this Commentary on Valid Cognition, since there are two objects to be measured, there are two valid cognitions. In the context of establishing that two is the definite number for valid cognition, when establishing that two is the definite number for the object to be measured,
