Because the causes and conditions for rebirth are complete and there are no obstacles. The completion of causes and conditions means that both karma and afflictions arising from self-grasping are complete, and the absence of obstacles means the absence of wisdom that realizes selflessness. It is necessary to ascertain that the main cause of samsara is ignorance that clings to the aggregates. And its antidotes are of two types: temporary suppression and complete eradication. The first is to cultivate loving-kindness as an antidote to anger, etc., and the latter is the wisdom that realizes selflessness. Therefore, in the second chapter, when explaining the truth of the path, one should combine the reasons for establishing that self-grasping is the main cause of samsara, and that the wisdom that realizes selflessness is the main method of treatment. The second is: The abode free from desire is, due to love or karma. That is to say, the Shravaka Arhats who dwell in the Nirvana with remainder have the complete causes and conditions for connecting consciousness with the next life in this life, because even without self-grasping, it is due to the influence of previous karma. The consciousness of the Mahayana Arhats will definitely be connected with the consciousness of the next life, because they have great compassion. Then, at the time of Nirvana without remainder, the consciousness is not connected with the next life, so the permanent basis cannot be established. If you ask like this. In response to this, some followers of logic-only consciousness believe that even in the state of Nirvana without remainder, there is a connection between the consciousness of the previous life and the consciousness of the next life. This statement does not distinguish the occasion of the sect, nor does it recognize the cause of the connection between consciousness and the next life. Because all three schools of the self-school of realism believe that the ultimate is the three vehicles, and the causes for connecting consciousness with the next life are the contaminated karma, afflictions, and the three of loving-kindness and great compassion, but in the case of the Hinayana's Nirvana without remainder, all three do not exist. In short, the Vaibhashika school does not acknowledge the Sambhogakaya, so the consciousness of both the Arhats of the Greater and Lesser Vehicles at the time of death will not be connected with the consciousness of the next life. The views of the lower schools of the Sutra and Consciousness-only schools are the same as the former, while the Mahayana school acknowledges the Sambhogakaya, so in all cases it is believed that consciousness will be connected with the next life.

So, how to answer this question? Here, "stable foundation" refers to the stable practice of the wisdom that realizes the selflessness of the individual until the yogic direct perception arises. Once it arises, there is no need to stabilize the foundation. If someone says, "Accomplishment is not achieved through habituation," then the answer is for the sake of stabilizing the foundation. Second, to prove that habituation naturally becomes excellent, such as "compassion and other emotions arise in the mind through habituation." Love, great compassion, and the wisdom that realizes selflessness have the nature of dharma. You become excellent naturally through habituation because you arise effortlessly and spontaneously in the mind through habituation. This has the same meaning as "after habituation, the body's effort no longer relies on repetition." Therefore, it is meaningless for early scholars to treat the two as separate starting points for argumentation. Third, meditating on it will be accomplished through self-awareness. Second, proving pervasiveness: If the habituation of a stable foundation naturally becomes excellent, that is meditation, then it is certain that the meaning of what is being habituated will become clear, which is pervasive. This is because such wisdom will not be hindered by obstacles until clear manifestation arises. For example, like the wisdom of habituating desire realm. Second, proving the definition: Non-conceptualization and non-mistakenness are both accomplished by obtaining a clear manifestation of the true meaning. Generally, non-conceptualization is accomplished through clear manifestation; specifically, non-mistakenness is accomplished through the clear manifestation of the true meaning. Third, refuting the objections to accomplishment is divided into refuting the unreasonableness of the perfection of abandonment and refuting the unreasonableness of the perfection of wisdom. First: It is impossible for afflictions to be completely abandoned because defilements are the nature of the mind and cannot be abandoned; even if they could be abandoned, there is no method to abandon them; even if there were a method, it could not be known; even if it were known, the abandoned afflictions would recur. For these four debates, there are also four answers: The nature of the mind is luminosity. (Tibetan: སེམས་ཀྱི་རང་བཞིན་འོད་གསལ་ཏེ།) etc.; Because the view of emptiness contradicts this. (Tibetan: སྟོང་ཉིད་ལྟ་དང་དེ་འགལ་ཕྱིར།) etc.; Through determining the nature of the cause. (Tibetan: རྒྱུ་ཡི་རང་བཞིན་ངེས་པ་ཡིས།) etc.; Because the seed of the view of self has been abandoned. The second point is divided into: refuting the impossibility of habituation and refuting the impossibility of attaining omniscience even if it is possible. The first point is:
