To say "it is not necessary for the other party to admit" is not the view of the Indian logicians. The second part has three aspects: the correct consequence that puts forward the proof, the correct consequence that does not put forward the proof, and explaining their examples. The definition of the first: if it is refuted by actually putting forward the consequence, it is the consequence statement that puts forward the reason with three aspects. This needs to have three dharmas, that is, because it is a reason, it is admitted by the opponent with real clinging, the reverse pervasion is established as the basis by valid cognition, and there is a valid negation on the subject. If it itself is actually not a proof statement because the reason is not established by valid cognition, but if it is refuted, it will become a correct proof statement, because it states the three aspects. How to put forward the own-nature? The pervasion of the own-nature is put forward by refuting the pervasion of the consequence. For the similar instance, some people say: "The consequence has no smoke." Saying that it is put forward by stating the subject of the consequence is unreasonable, because if the subject is stated here as in the proof statement, it is a refutation with excess. Some people say that it is indicated by the reason of the consequence, that is, because there is no fire. Stating this can put forward the consciousness aimed at the proposition of no smoke, and trusting it can understand the refuted smoke, which is also unreasonable, because if trusting no smoke can understand smoke, it is too excessive. Then how should it be? Although the meaning of the own-nature can be put forward from the consequence statement, it will not be put forward like the refuted statement, like this, if the reason of no fire is not stated to be admitted, the subject of the consequence will not be established, and if it is stated, when refuting it, the proposition of the own-nature must be stated, so it will become an excess of statement. Second, the definition of the correct consequence that does not put forward the proof: any correct consequence, if refuted, will not actually put forward the reason with three aspects. Third, explaining their examples, divided into two types: the example of the correct consequence that does not put forward the proof and the example of the correct consequence that puts forward the proof. The first is: self-nature, result, characteristic, and what is established by the three non-apprehensions do not put forward. That is to say, in this school, in general, the correct reasons are of two types: result and self-nature reasons, and four types of non-apprehension reasons that are relationally contradictory, coexisting contradiction.

There are twelve reasons based on contradictory perceptions and two reasons based on mutually exclusive contradictions, making a definite total of twenty. Similarly, for consequences, there are also definitely twenty consequences with those names. For example, "It follows that there is no pot, because the pot is not perceived by valid cognition," is a consequence of non-perception of the nature. "It follows that there is no substantial cause of smoke, because there is no smoke," is a consequence of non-perception of the effect. "It follows that it is not a cow, because it is not an aggregation of humps, etc.," is a non-perception of the defining characteristic within the non-perception of the pervasive factor. These three do not produce the establishment of the proof, because if the three, such as the existence of a pot, are established by valid cognition, then the perception of the pot by valid cognition, etc., are also established, so there is no need for self-awareness. If these are not established by valid cognition, then the valid cognition does not exclude the proposition of the consequence, so the property of the subject of the self-awareness is not established. Therefore, it is not the intention of the Rigs Gter to consider the subject of these three consequences to be a place purified by a pot, a wall devoid of smoke, or something perceived as a horse. In the Rigs Gter autocommentary, it says, "If a pot, etc., are established by valid cognition, then perception is also established, so there is no need for knowledge. If it is not established, then there is no exclusion from the statement of the consequence, and the property of the subject of self-awareness is not established." Because it is said that the proposition must be clearly present with valid cognition. Otherwise, for all twenty correct reasons, each such consequence would be possible, so there would be the fault of becoming twenty consequences that do not produce the establishment of the proof. Therefore, it should be understood that, taking the sign that the opponent has accepted as the basis, the place where the pot exists, the place where the smoke exists, and the horned body that is a cow, etc., are taken as the subject. The remaining correct reasons should be understood to produce the establishment of the proof. That is to say, apart from the non-perception of the defining characteristic within the non-perception of the pervasive factor, and the seventeen correct consequences of the seventeen correct reasons that are the remainder of the previous three, that is, eighteen, should be understood to produce the establishment of the proof. In the Rigs Gter, when explaining the production of the establishment of the proof by the consequence, it says, "The remaining correct reasons."
