The nature of debaters. A detailed classification of language during debate. First, the three aspects of the reason seen by the previous debater himself, to show the later debater that there are no phonetic errors for the appropriate occasion. This and the correct statement of proof are different names, so the previous definition can represent both. The reason for calling it by the name of inference is that it is the cause of generating inference in the continuum of other later debaters, so the cause is named after the effect. Second, there are three: their respective definitions, the nature of victory and defeat, and how the witness proves it. First, the definitions of the previous debater, the later debater, and the witness are, in order, the person who promises to state the proof, the person who promises to state the refutation, and the person who promises to state the victory or defeat of those two. Second, of the two debaters, the one who states the error is the place of refutation, and the one who states the non-error is the place of acceptance. That is, if the debater states the correct proof and the later debater does not point out the error, then the later debater loses. If the debater states a similar proof and the later debater correctly points out the error, then the debater loses. If he states a similar proof and the later debater does not point out the error, or points out a similar error, but the debater does not know how to refute, then there is no victory or defeat in either case. Because even if there is an error, he knows how to argue and refute. The nature of victory and defeat depends on whether the two debaters are able to destroy each other's pride. Third, in general, there are three ways of refutation, ways of acceptance, and specifically determining the place of refutation. First, as it is said, "The worldly person who robs and gives, wants refutation and compliance. For those who take and abandon sects, they want the refutation and compliance of the saints," so understand it. Second, there are two: stating what is reasonable and refuting what is wrong. First, the previous debater does not state the limbs of the argument in the place of refutation, and there are two cases of stating non-limbs; the later debater does not state the error in the place of refutation, and states the non-error.

There are two types, namely four. As it says in the "Treatise on Debate": "Not stating the limbs of proof, And stating the two that are not faults, Are the places of refutation, Others are not reasonable." Thus it is said. Second, there are two: refuting the views of the Snow Land school and refuting the views of the Akshapada school. First: The proponent has three, two, six, The opponent also has three, two, six, The witness has three, all have one. The Snow Land people assert sixteen. If it is refutation, it is included in the two, If not, it is not refutation itself. The witness has no refutation, If one insists on it, it is too much. It should be understood as such. Second: The Akshapada school asserts twenty-two refutations, such as harm to the proposition, another proposition, etc., which is not reasonable, because those that are refutations are included in the previous four, and the others are not places of refutation. Third, there are three: distinguishing from the perspective of the person, the necessity, and the manner of expression. First: There are six manners of expression for the three persons. That is, the proponent has the two languages of establishing the meaning of the object and refuting faults; the opponent has the two languages of asking for what is desired and stating faults; the witness has the two languages of stating accordingly and distinguishing, totaling six. Second, there are two: the language of establishing one's own desired and the language of refuting others' desired. First, there are two: the correct establishing language and the seemingly establishing language. First, there are four: definition, the manner of combining the language, the function of the language, and division. First: The definition of inference for the sake of others can also represent this, as it has been said before. Second, there are three: rejection, establishment, and abandonment. First, there are two: rejecting the views of the ancients and rejecting the views of the Snow Land school. First: Combine the language with five limbs, like this: sound is impermanent, because it is produced. For example, like a pot. The pot is produced, and sound is also produced. Therefore, sound is impermanent. Combine it like this. Among them, "sound is impermanent" is the proposition. "Because it is produced" is the reason. "For example, like a pot" is the example. "The pot is produced, and sound is also produced" is the application. "Therefore, sound is impermanent" is showing the conclusion. They think like this. This is not reasonable, because this
