However, because there is doubt about whether the object to be measured is permanent or impermanent. The excellent explanation of examining the wisdom of the knower, that is, the second part, has been explained. ༈. Third, there are four ways in which wisdom recognizes objects, namely: the way of recognizing the general and the particular, the way of recognizing appearance and negation, the way of recognizing the expressible and the expressing, and the way of recognizing contradiction and relation. The first is divided into two aspects: generally explaining the system of objects and object-possessors, and specifically analyzing the way of recognizing the general and the particular. The first aspect is: self-character, appearance, thing, substance, exclusion, ultimate truth, these are consistent in the meaning of things, because they have function, exist without being mixed with each other, are composed of cause and effect, and are the objects of acceptance and rejection for all beings. If it is said to be exclusion, substance, and thing, then it does not necessarily cover self-character, because there are the words "it is also excluded by others, and named by others", and "to all is said substance and thing". If you ask this, there is no fault, because the exclusion, substance, and thing mentioned in the words of the treatise have two situations: existing in meaning and becoming the object of negation. Common character, generality, other-exclusion, exclusion, severance, mixture, relation, conventional truth, these are the same in not being able to function, because they do not abide in meaning, are not the object of sense perception, are imputed by conceptual thought, and are the same in being established by the wisdom of other-exclusion without establishing their own essence. Therefore, the self-character and so on mentioned earlier, and the common character and so on are objects, conceptual thought and non-conceptual thought are wisdom, and appearance and negation should be understood as the way of holding. The second aspect is divided into: definition, classification, and system. First, the definition of the general is the imputation that appears as common. The classification includes: genus general, meaning general, and collection general. The definition of the first is: relative to one's own appearance, the imputation that appears as a single exclusion that excludes from things of different kinds. For example, in the conceptual thought of holding a vase, the appearance of the vase is the imputation that appears to be excluded from non-vase things. The definition of the second is: the imputation of confusing appearance and imputation as one. For example, in the conceptual thought of holding a vase,

For example, like the appearance of a vase on a skull, it is like the imputation of imputing an external vase. The third characteristic: the imputation of appearing coarse due to the aggregation of many particles. For example, like the imputation of imputing a vase to the aggregation of eight particles. The characteristic of difference: the imputation of appearing as a combination of two negations that can also be eliminated from dissimilar and similar classes. For example, the imputation of appearing as meat on the illusion of a tree stump. Second, in terms of classification: it is said that there are direct universals and particulars, as well as higher-level universals and particulars. These also need to be understood in the context of the meaning of the scriptures as to how they are established as imputations. Third, in terms of establishment: there are three types: refutation, establishment, and abandonment. First, there are two types: refutation by reasoning and refutation by scripture. The first has three types: refuting the assertion that universals appear as different entities, refuting the assertion that universals appear as one entity, and refuting other schools that assert universals as non-existent. The first is: the Vaiśeṣikas say that the great universal existence itself, and the minor universal cow itself, etc., pervade their own appearances, are different entities from the appearances, are permanent, indivisible, and the relationship between the appearances and the aggregation exists connected like a rope, just as many cows are tied together with one rope. It itself is also the cause of the unified entry of sound and wisdom into the appearances. They say this. Although there are many refutations of this in the scriptures, the main point of reasoning is: the appearance of wood, as the subject, your universal entity, which is different from you, does not exist, because it is not perceived by a valid means of establishment. The second aspect: stating the views of the Sāṃkhyas, the views of the Sāṃkhyas of the same kind, and refuting both from one aspect, there are three types. The first is: the Sāṃkhyas believe that the self and nature, as well as the great, ego, and eleven senses, five tanmātras, and five elements, all knowable things are determined to be twenty-five, of which the self is the enjoyer of all transformations, and it itself is also called the knower, the awakened one, and the puruṣa. Nature is what produces all transformations, and it itself is also called the cause, the universal, and the principal. Therefore, if it is the cause, it does not pervade the universal and the principal, but nature has three names of
