Seeing. There are three points to explain this meaning: Pointing out the basis arising from meditation, Establishing the nature as being free from conceptualization, Explaining the conceptualization to be abandoned. The first point is: raṃ la (藏文), The mind that obtains clarity on the meaning of what is familiar from the familiarity with the sixteen aspects (impermanence, etc.) on the four noble truths is the direct perception of yoga, because it is the mind that generates clarity on the meaning of what is true from the familiarity with the meaning of what is true. The second point has four points: Establishing that clarity arises from familiarity, Establishing non-conceptualization through clarity, There is also clarity in what is not true, Separating and explaining whether it is valid or not. The first point is: rtoṃ ga (藏文), The mind that meditates on the four noble truths of the noble ones, when familiarity reaches its ultimate point, clarity will arise on the meaning of what is familiar, because when familiarity reaches its ultimate point, the meaning of what is familiar will turn into non-conceptualization. For example, like the mind that is familiar with desire and destruction, etc. The second point is: raṃ la (藏文), The direct perception of yoga does not have conceptualization about the meaning of what is true, because it is the clarity of the meaning of what is true. The pervasion is: if there is conceptualization about that object, then that object must be unclear. If it is said that there is also clarity in conceptualization, like the consciousness of a dream, then, rmiṃ (藏文), The memory conceptualization of the dream state, its own object is unclear, because its own object is unclear, and it is remembered by the subsequent memory consciousness. The third point is: miṃ (藏文), Clarity will also arise from meditating on what is not true, because from meditating on impurity and the samadhi of exhaustion, etc., it is seen that non-conceptualization and clarity arise on the meaning of what is meditated on. deṃ (藏文), The mind that meditates on the meaning of the true selflessness and the meaning of the untrue exhaustion, etc., when meditation is completed, the meaning of what is meditated on will turn into clarity and non-conceptualization, because rten brtan (藏文), The meaning of what is meditated on, which naturally turns into a special familiarity, is the mind of meditation. The fourth point is: deṃ (藏文), The mind that obtains clarity on the meaning of what is meditated on from meditating on the four noble truths of the noble ones is valid, because it is a non-deceptive consciousness. The mind that obtains clarity on the meaning of what is familiar from the familiarity with the samadhi of impurity is not valid, because it is a deceptive consciousness. The third point is: śeṃ sa (藏文), Son.

The conceptualization that apprehends names, is a phenomenon, it is a conceptualization of a pot, because it is a mind that truly apprehends sound and meaning in relation to a pot. That, is a phenomenon, is free from conceptualization in its own essence, because it is a mind that does not apprehend sound and meaning in its own essence. That, is a phenomenon, is manifest in its own essence, because it is a mind that is free from conceptualization and non-erroneous in its own essence. Second, in order to realize without error, the explanation of seeming valid cognition is as follows: In short, the verse says: "Erroneous and conventional consciousness, as well as inference arising from inference, recollection and desire, are called seeming valid cognition, along with faintness." The meaning of what is said is explained in three points: condensing seeming valid cognitions into four, explaining the necessity of the three conceptualizations, and the meaning of distinguishing what is confused. First: It is said that in general, the seven seeming valid cognitions are explained, which is a phenomenon, and from the perspective of necessity, they are condensed into four, namely: those that rely on conventions and those that superimpose on other objects; those that have hidden meanings; the three conceptual seeming valid cognitions; and one non-conceptual seeming valid cognition, because they are condensed into these. Second, there are two: briefly indicating the necessity, and extensively explaining the nature. First: It is said that the two types of consciousness, conventional consciousness and erroneous consciousness, explain the difference between seeming valid cognitions, which is a phenomenon, and there is a necessity, because it is in order to establish that these two are not consciousnesses arising from the sense faculty. It is said that the four types of inference, etc., explain the difference between seeming valid cognitions, which is a phenomenon, and there is a necessity, because it is the difference of showing the similar example of establishing that the previous two conceptualizations are not sense consciousnesses. Second, there are three: extensively explaining the elimination of error, extensively explaining the establishment of inference, etc., and extensively explaining the previous method of establishment. First: It is said that the conceptualization that relies on conventions and the conceptualization that superimposes on other objects, is a phenomenon, you may be mistaken for sense consciousness, because you are a sense direct perception, and because of the reason of engaging with the object simultaneously. Second: It is said that the four conceptualizations that have hidden meanings, are phenomena, and are not direct perception, because the mind that apprehends its own object relies on the recollection of names. Third: It is said that the conceptualization that relies on conventions and the conceptualization that superimposes on other objects, is a phenomenon, the subject and reason are the same. The third has
