If it is said that the distinctions of a pot, such as being made and impermanence, are mutually distinct entities, and are also distinct entities from the pot that possesses distinctions, therefore, conceptual minds can only grasp one of them at a time and cannot grasp others. The second case is: Distinction (khyadam). If the distinction and the possessor of distinction are different entities, then it is necessary to benefit the distinctions of the possessor of distinction, so is the ability of the pot to benefit the made, etc., of the pot the same entity as the pot that possesses distinction? Or is it a different entity? If it is the first case, then, the definite cognition of the pot, as the subject, the ability of the pot to benefit the made, etc., of the pot must be established, because it enters the pot that is the same entity as that ability by way of establishment. If you admit it, then, that subject, the made, etc., of the pot must be established, because you admit it. If the pot is definite, then, although the ability that is the same entity as it is definite, the made, etc., that are different entities from it are not definite. If you say so, pot, as the subject, if you are definite by way of establishment, then you must necessarily be definite as the one who benefits the made, etc., because your ability to benefit your own made, etc., is connected to you as one entity. If you admit it, then, the knowledge that the pot is definite, as the subject, you take the pot as the one who benefits the made, etc., and the made, etc., of the pot are the objects of benefit of the pot, therefore both must be established, because you definitely take the pot as the one who benefits its own made, etc., by way of establishment. Dharma (chosam). If it is the second case, being a different entity, then, the ability of the pot to benefit the made of the pot, as the subject, you must be unrelated to the pot, because you are a different entity from the pot, and the pot has not benefited you. If it is said that it is not established, pot, as the subject, your ability must become infinite, because your ability to benefit your own made also needs other benefits. One (chigam). Therefore, it must be admitted that the ability and the possessor of ability are the same entity, therefore, the definite cognition that the pot can benefit the made of the pot, as the subject, you must grasp the pot as the one who benefits its own impermanence, because you grasp the pot as the one who benefits its own made, because these two are the same entity. If you admit it, then, that subject, all the made impermanence of the pot must be grasped, the pot benefits its own made.

In order to grasp all the power of the earth. The third is: Galam. If one grasps the made nature of the pot, one also grasps the impermanence of the pot. However, since there is another valid cognition that can recognize the impermanence of the pot, it will not become multiple. Because in order to eliminate the illusion that the pot is permanent, there must be a valid cognition to recognize the impermanence of the pot. If so, then the inference that recognizes the impermanence of the pot should become a removal of superimposition. Because it is a wisdom that arises in order to remove superimposition. Furthermore, the definite understanding that the pot is made should become a removal of superimposition. Because it is a conceptual thought that, before its own function has disappeared, prevents other superimpositions from arising from its own way of certainty. Galam. The wisdom that ascertains that the pot is made, the impermanence of the pot is not your object. Because you, this definite understanding, have not ascertained it. If so, then the impermanence of the pot, etc., should not become the object of the direct perception of grasping the pot. Because it has not ascertained it. Gadam. The direct perception of grasping the pot, if you have not ascertained it, then your object is not pervasive, because you are not the determiner of any object. That dharma, you, regarding the made nature and impermanence of the pot, etc., there may be a difference between recognizing or not recognizing in name. Because you, regarding the made nature and impermanence of the pot, etc., have complete favorable conditions for generating definite understanding, and when there are no unfavorable conditions, you recognize it in name, and when it is the opposite of this, you do not recognize it in name. The third is to refute the debate that is spoken by examining the return: Are return and turning away different entities, or are they not different? If it is the former, then it will become no different from the generality and particularity that we accept. If it is the latter, then sound and wisdom should not be established as different. In order to answer the doubts of the Vaibhashikas, there are three explanations: Return and turning away have no other meaning, but two sounds are established. Because there is no other meaning, the fault with generality is not the same. If one examines the meaning, then the previous arguments still exist. The first has three: Two sounds are established merely by wanting to express. Showing that there is no fault in this. Applying this method to all other situations. The first is: Dem. This cow is turned away from the horse, and this cow is returned from the horse, these two expressions and the expressed dharma.
