Because the delusion of constantly being mistaken by the cause of permanence does not arise. The third is, Nuṃs. (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) Although seen directly, there are examples where subsequent conceptualization is uncertain. Although the root manifest of seeing the seed sees the ability of the seed to produce sprouts, it cannot independently draw certainty about that ability. The fourth is, Deṃ. (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) After directly seeing the impermanence of color, the subject of establishing the sign and inference of establishing the impermanence of color. It is necessary because although seen directly, it is established to determine the uncertain. The fifth is, Bloṃ. (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) A person who is free from the cause of delusion of holding color as permanent. In your presence, there is no need to establish the sign and inference of establishing the impermanence of color, because the manifest of holding color in your mindstream can independently draw certainty about the impermanence of color. If things and their impermanence are not different in meaning, how do sound and mind operate differently? Thaṃs. (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) Color and the impermanence of color, although not different in meaning, sound and thought operate differently, because although not different in meaning, the opposites are different. Akruṃla. (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) Color, if you do not have the cause of delusion of holding permanence, after your holding manifest, there is no need to establish the sign and inference of establishing your impermanence, because if there is no that, your holding manifest can independently draw certainty about your impermanence. Third, in the system of one destruction, it is also inference. Yaṃg. (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) Also in the system of the Vaibhāṣika, the valid cognition that determines the impermanence of color is not a valid cognition other than manifest and subsequent, because it is an inference that understands the impermanence of color. Vaibhāṣika, in your system, the valid cognition that determines the impermanence of color is inference, because you are an opponent who believes that not seeing the previous color is the meaning of the impermanence of color. Fourth, incidentally refuting the way other schools accept impermanence, there are two: first, state the former party and ask about its meaning, examine the two extremes of the question and refute. The first is, Gaṃg. (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) The logician says, the meaning of impermanence is neither merely the existence of things like the Sautrāntika, nor merely the destruction of things like the Vaibhāṣika, but

If it is said that the existence that is separated by two extremes, or the connection that corresponds to it, is the meaning of impermanence, then one should ask, what are these two extremes? There are two types: refuting that prior and subsequent non-existence are the two extremes; refuting that cause and effect are the two extremes. The first is: If it is said that the two extremes are the thing that is first born and then ceases to exist, and the thing that is later destroyed and then ceases to exist, then why is that not impermanence itself? Because it is not permissible to add a genitive particle such as "the impermanence of a thing," because it is non-existence, it has no connection with a thing. If this is said, then the two extremes, the subject, it is not permissible to use the genitive particle "of existence," because there is no thing. Existence, the subject, the connection with the particular and the corresponding, it is not permissible to be distinguished by the two extremes, because it is permanent. The second is: If it is said that cause and effect are the two extremes, and the thing in between is the particular of existence, then the particular of existence, the subject, it is not permissible to be distinguished by cause and effect, because the connection of cause and effect is not established. The reason is accepted, because any thing that did not exist before, if it does not exist, cause and effect must not be established. Existence, the corresponding cause is the cause, and the two connections connected by it are the effect, and if it is said that the existence that is distinguished by these two, cause and effect, is impermanent, then existence itself, and the part of the connection between the two self-causes and the effect, the subject, it is not permissible to be the effect, because it is permanent. If it is said that the effect did not exist before, but is produced by the cause, so there is no fault, then the thing, the subject, you are not permissible to have the special attribute of not existing before, because you have no connection with not existing before. Therefore, all things, the subject, should be permanent, because the thing that did not exist before is not newly produced. If so, then the verbal concept that distinguishes between a thing and what did not exist before should not be established. Then, the concept that clings to the difference between a thing and what did not exist before, the subject, is not established because the thing and what did not exist before are different in meaning, but because the two are different in opposition. The word that expresses the difference between the two is also the same. Explanation of the dharma character. Second, seeing the difference in others.
