Because it is impermanent. Third, Self (Tibetan: བདགཾ), this dharma, is not self, because it does not conform to the nature of self. Fourth, Blessing (Tibetan: བྱིནཾ), this dharma, is not what I bless, because I am not your cause, because I am permanent. Pervasion: If it is permanent, then it must not be the cause of its own effect. That (Tibetan: དེཾ), I, this dharma, it should not sequentially produce many fruits from you, because you are permanent. Cause (Tibetan: རྒྱུ།ཾ), permanent dharma, this dharma, it should not be the cause of suffering, etc., even if other causes of suffering, etc., gather, you do not have the power to eliminate suffering, etc., by the power of elimination. Second, establishing suffering with its cause, explaining the truth of suffering has three parts: establishing suffering with its cause, refuting the view that the cause is something else, and showing that the main factor of the cause is craving. The first has two parts: establishing association with the cause by occasional arising, and refuting the reason for establishing no cause. First, Occasionally (Tibetan: རེཾས), suffering, this dharma, has a cause, because it is a phenomenon that arises occasionally. Pervasion: The counter-pervasion is permanent dharma. Second, As (Tibetan: ཇིཾ), the Lokayata says: Just as the sharpness of thorns, etc., is without cause, so is the truth of suffering without cause. Answer: What (Tibetan: གངཾ་), the sharpness of thorns, etc., and the truth of suffering, this dharma, has a cause, because it arises and ceases following other beneficial predecessors. If so, then the tangible object that is the object-condition cause of eye consciousness, this dharma, should be the cause of eye consciousness, because it is the place of arising and ceasing of the subsequent eye consciousness. Answer: That (Tibetan: རེཾག), this dharma, is its indirect cause, because it is the cause of the form that is its object-condition. Second, Permanent (Tibetan: རྟགཾ), suffering, this dharma, is not produced from permanent dharmas such as Ishvara, because in general, permanent dharma as a cause has already been refuted, and permanent dharma does not have the ability to produce fruit. Third, there are three parts: showing that craving is the main factor, quoting scriptures as proof, and craving is the only cause that is explained. First, That (Tibetan: དེཾ), craving for existence, this dharma, is the main factor of the cause of its own effect, suffering, because it independently produces its own effect, suffering.

If it is said that the sutras state that the origin of suffering is attachment to desire, attachment to existence, and attachment to non-existence, then there is a contradiction. Answer: The dharma of attachment to existence, you are the cause of suffering, and it is not contradictory to say that the origin of suffering is such, because attachment to desire and attachment to non-existence are your distinctions. Ordinary people, these three attachments are the basis for your rebirth in samsara, because by the power of the three attachments arising from the false view of holding suffering as happiness, you will enter into the acceptance and rejection of objects. The second is divided into two: the real and the refutation of disputes. The first is: Attachment to existence, you are the cause of rebirth in samsara, because the teacher Vasubandhu said so. Second: The body. If it is said that attachment should also arise from the body, because no attachment is seen in those without a body. Answer: The previous body is the cause of the subsequent attachment, because it is its co-arising condition. If it is said that it contradicts the previous prohibition of being a cause. Answer: The body, it is not that you are only the cause of subsequent attachment that is prohibited, because you have already prohibited being the immediate cause of subsequent attachment. Category. If it is said that if the previous body relying on the previous consciousness is considered the cause of subsequent attachment, then the materialist should logically accept that there is a future life, because it has been said that the previous body and attachment are the cause of the future life. Question: Attachment is not the cause of the body, because the body arises simultaneously with birth. Answer: The body is also a dharma, and it is not the cause of attachment, because it arises simultaneously with attachment. If it is accepted, moment. The first moment of attachment in this life has been established as having a similar predecessor, because it is born from a cause of equal share. Third, if only attachment is the cause of rebirth in samsara, then "ignorance, karma, and existence arise in the aggregates of consciousness," as it is said to be a three-cause, then there is a contradiction. Answer: Ignorance, although it is generally the cause of samsara, there is a reason why it is not mentioned as the cause of samsara here, namely, the aggregates of samsara.
