Knowing the antidote to the cause of suffering, in order to know the cause of suffering. Third: Badaṁ (Tibetan), craving arising from self-grasping, phenomenon, is the cause of suffering, because it independently generates suffering. The uninterrupted path that directly realizes selflessness, phenomenon, is the antidote to the cause of suffering, because it is the antidote that directly contradicts self-grasping and the manner of grasping. Third: Rnamaṁs (Tibetan), the wisdom that cultivates the path of realizing selflessness for countless eons, phenomenon, if cultivated without being separated from the cause of cultivation, then the ultimate clarity of the reality of the four truths will arise, Rten brtan (Tibetan), cultivation naturally becomes excellent, because it is the cultivation of the reality of the four truths. Desaṁ (Tibetan), the teacher Buddha, phenomenon, has abandoned all the imprints of afflictions, because he has the ultimate clarity of the reality of the four truths. Thubaṁ (Tibetan), this phenomenon, is more excellent than rhinoceros horns, etc., because it has abandoned all the imprints of afflictions. Fourth: Deṁ (Tibetan), the wisdom of cultivating selflessness, phenomenon, can be called a teacher, because it is the main cause of the teacher at the time of fruition. Grubhaṁ (Tibetan), the two perfections of intention and action of the Great Vehicle, phenomenon, are said to be the cause of a person of measure in the praise of offerings in the sutras, because in the praise of offerings in the sutras, abandonment and realization appear first. Third, there are two ways in which the Sugata arises from that: showing the perfection of abandonment as the Sugata, and refuting the argument that there is no perfection of abandonment. The first has two: brief explanation, and detailed explanation. First: Rgyuṁ (Tibetan), the abandonment of becoming a Buddha, phenomenon, is the Sugata, because it is the abandonment with three qualities. The second has three: well abandoned, non-returning abandoned, and completely abandoned. First: Sdugaṁ (Tibetan), this phenomenon, is well abandoned, because it does not serve as a basis for suffering, and is most excellent among the abandonments of externalists. Second: Skyeṁ (Tibetan), this phenomenon, is non-returning abandoned, because it has abandoned the seed of self-view, and is most excellent among the abandonments of Hearers and Solitary Realizers who are still learning. Third: Nyonaṁ (Tibetan), this

Because the body has been abandoned, and the habitual tendencies of afflictions have been abandoned, it is therefore more superior than the abandonment of Hearers and Solitary Realizers Arhats. The second part has two points: debate and answer. The first point: Kham. The reasoners and others say: Teacher Gautama, possessing characteristics, is not one who has exhausted faults, because he speaks, and because he is a man. The second part has two points: showing that the proof has excess, and refuting by examining the proof itself. The first point: Dhim. Speaking and so on, possessing characteristics, your pervasion that the teacher is not one who has exhausted faults is wrong, because you have not determined that it is reversed on the opposite side of what is to be established. The second point: Taga The reason why the teacher is not one who has exhausted faults, is it that the fault is permanent? Or is it that there is no antidote to abandon it? Or is it that there is one but it is not known? If according to the first case: Gye Fault, possessing characteristics, you are not permanent, because you have a cause that produces you. If according to the second case: Gye It, possessing characteristics, you are not without a method of abandonment, because the habituation of the antidote to your cause will cause you to be exhausted. If according to the third case: Gye It, possessing characteristics, your antidote will be known, because your cause, grasping at self, will be known. Fourth, the way in which protection arises from that is: Kyopa Teacher, possessing characteristics, is a protector, because by showing others the qualities he has seen himself, he is able to protect others from suffering and its causes. The pervasion is that it is impossible to speak perversely by means of lying and not having compassion. Fifth, therefore, establishing that there is proof: De (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,That,那). Blessed One, possessing characteristics, your proof is established, because your proof has been established, that teachers and so on arise from great compassion. Third, from preventing non-effort to establishing effort, there are five points: establishing protection by the power of reality and reasoning, the way in which the Sugata is established from that, the way in which the teacher is established from that, the way in which love is established from that, therefore establishing effort. The first part has two points: showing that teaching the four truths is protection, and establishing the four truths to be taught by reasoning. The first point: Yang. Teacher, possessing characteristics, is a protector, because he teaches the four truths without error to those to be tamed.
