For that reason. Other things that arise simultaneously with consciousness are the subject. How can they appear clearly to simultaneous consciousness, i.e., they cannot appear, because it is contradictory. Because simultaneous consciousness does not create appearances with appearances similar to itself, because there is no benefit to simultaneous consciousness, so it does not create appearances for it. Second, momentary things cease and are non-existent at the time of cognition, so they do not appear, but permanent things, such as vajras and stones, exist until they are destroyed at the time of cognition of their own result. If it is said that the thing itself appears in the mind, then whatever is accepted as a permanent thing, such as vajras and stones, is also the subject. The consciousness of all sentient beings that focuses on itself becomes solely produced by itself. Because the self-object of all sentient beings is the actual producer, it does not need to rely on other causes and conditions, and is permanent. If those that produce their own object are simultaneous, because they rely on benefit, the consciousness of this object of vajras, etc., those arise in sequence. Vajras and stones, etc., are the subject. It must be said that the previous and subsequent moments are each different. Because relying on simultaneous causes and conditions, the consciousness of the object arises sequentially. If it is admitted, then this vajra, etc., is also the subject. It does not actually appear to the consciousness of the object, because it is destroyed at the time of the consciousness of the object, so the previous fault still exists. Second, explaining and establishing later with memory, there are two: establishing the appearance of things by the existence of memory, and if things are without appearance, it is too much. First, for some commentators of previous scriptures, the former established the two ways of object and object-possessor, so it is not established by the reason of memory, but the two ways of knowable-knower and experiencer-experienced are established in self-awareness itself, in order to refute this statement. There is no dispute in my own experience. Combining the scriptures in this way is very unreasonable, because it is without appearance, so self-awareness is not admitted, because it is not admitted that self-awareness itself has the two ways of experiencer-experienced. So how should it be? If some commentators say that the reason of memory only establishes the two ways of object and object-possessor, then the non-appearance is the subject.

There is no need to prove that the object appearing in the field is experienced by the consciousness of the subject, because there is no dispute that the appearance of the object appearing in the field is experienced by the knowledge itself. So, what needs to be proved? It needs to be proved that the appearance is the nature of the object, because the appearance itself is not established, so it needs to be proved. That is to say, the knowledge that appears in the form of color, etc., as a dharma, experiences the appearance of the object separately at its own time. Because later it can correctly recall "This is grasping color, not grasping sound," etc., it can be established from this. The meaning is that those who think that consciousness is without form think that the appearance of the object is the appearance of the object when the knowledge itself exists, so in general, the two ways of object and subject are established, but they think that the appearance of the object is the object itself, and do not think that it is the nature of consciousness, so it is necessary to prove the two ways that have become the nature of consciousness. This is very important for all occasions of proving the two ways, and for all the key points of the tenets of the Kosa and Sutra schools. The second point is: if the appearance of the object is not shown separately and has not been experienced in that way, then the knowledge that appears in the form of color, etc., as a dharma, later recalls "This is grasping color, not grasping sound," this difference will not be possible. Because the objects of one's own use, such as color, etc., do not distinguish differences from themselves, and do not experience the different appearances of objects, but only experience objects, which are the same. Therefore, for the knowledge of the appearance of things, as a dharma, if the different appearances of one's own object are not shown, then your difference cannot be distinguished by some difference as "This is grasping color, this is grasping sound," because for all objects, it is only experience, which is the same. If it is said that it is not pervasive, because for each object, due to the difference in the aggregation of causes and conditions, there will be different memories later. Then, for the knowledge of the appearance of things, as a dharma, for each object, even if you have some subtle differences, through these differences, later you can distinguish "This is grasping color, this is grasping sound," the consciousness of memory that can be produced is impossible. Because your difference, that is, the obvious difference, is that the different appearances of your own object are not shown. For example, for twins, etc., although there are subtle differences, the difference
