Because they are different in kind. If admitted, then, that dharma, as the enjoyer of all objects themselves, will be destroyed. Because it is not the holder of all objects. With this reasoning of preventing different kinds from being the object and the subject, for that dharma, there is also another necessity. External objects, such as happiness, etc., because they are the cause of establishing the appearance of the mind that has the nature of happiness, etc. This is pervasive, because different kinds cannot become cause and effect. This is also to eliminate the above statement. How is it? The person, that dharma, should not become the result of the appearance established by all objects, because it is different in kind from all objects. If admitted, then, it will not become the enjoyer of all objects. Or, the happiness, etc. of external objects and the mind or the great, that dharma, should not become the cause of establishing the appearance, and the result established by it, because different kinds do not exist as the object and the subject themselves. Even if we assume that it exists, it will not become cause and effect by that alone, if it becomes cause and effect, then, other persons and objects, that dharma, should also become cause and effect, because there is the object and the subject. Third, refuting that happiness, etc. are mindless things, there are two: establishing as mind by being the object to be enjoyed; preventing enjoyment by other enjoyers. First, happiness, etc., that dharma, is internal, because after you get used to it, your nature will become special. Also, happiness, etc., that dharma, is mind, because it is the mind that is enjoyed itself. This is pervasive, because any enjoyer whose nature is not the nature of the object to be enjoyed, then, it is not the enjoyer of that object to be enjoyed. This prevents the mind and mental factors from being different entities. Second, there are two: preventing the difference between mind and enjoyment by the sign of non-perception; preventing two examples that indicate pervasive uncertainty. First, if the nature of happiness, etc. is not the enjoyer, but the appearance of happiness, etc. that exists in the mind or the great by the knowledgeable person, that is, the appearance of happiness, etc. that arises, is knowledge, but not in the way that it arises with the nature of happiness, etc. is knowledge, then, happiness, etc., that dharma, except for clearly enjoying, that is, having the appearance of direct perception, and the two kinds of enjoyment of the appearance related to conceptual thought and subsequent memory

Is the awareness or great one that appears to you existent or nonexistent? It is nonexistent. Because apart from these two, the awareness or great one that appears to you is visible but unattainable. Why? Because I think that relying on desired things and undesired things, happiness and suffering, etc., the knowledge of one's own experience will become one. Between the object and consciousness, the subject, there is no other awareness or great one, because if there were another great awareness, it should be visible, but it is not seen. The second part is divided into two points: refuting external examples, and refuting internal examples. The first point is: when iron is burned by fire, although the iron block and fire are different, they cannot be distinguished. Just as awareness and experience are different, but because they are mixed together, there is no knowledge to distinguish them, are they actually different? For all things, the subject, if it is said "this is multiple," some are different, and if it is said "this is one," then the distinction between different and same will disappear. Because it is manifestly considered to be one entity, it is not established as one entity. Therefore, what is manifestly considered to be a different entity cannot be established as proof of a different entity. Because what is manifestly considered to be one entity is not proof of one entity. This is pervasive. If it is manifestly experienced that there is no different entity, then it is established as one entity. But this is not the case, because what is manifestly experienced as a different entity is established as having a different entity, otherwise it will not be established. Furthermore, what is the reason for establishing some things as different and some things as the same? There is no reason. Because feelings of suffering, etc., and white, etc., all five of them, although they appear in all things, are not different. Awareness and experience, although they appear to be the same, are actually different. The second point is: within the scope of one consciousness, when a feeling like happiness arises clearly, although one does not realize that suffering, etc., are different, they are actually different. Just as awareness and experience are different, but one does not realize that they are different? Mind, the eye consciousness that grasps form, the subject, when a feeling of happiness arises clearly in your scope, although suffering, etc., are obscured by the clarity of happiness, so one does not realize it, but the feelings of happiness and suffering are different.
