Therefore. Third, if many atoms do not gather, there is no single object with limbs, then like individual atoms, even if they gather, they cannot become the object of sensory consciousness, is that what you think? Many atoms, as the subject, change from a state of not gathering to a special state of gathering with other atoms, and at the same time become the cause of sensory consciousness, and there is no contradiction, because even without a single object with limbs, it can still help sensory consciousness at the same time. For example, the three causes such as the senses are of different kinds, and even without a single object with limbs, sensory consciousness can still be produced. If you think that even if it is a cause, it will not become the object of sensory consciousness, then among the three causes of sensory consciousness, the consciousness of the senses is the image creator that appears as the image of which cause, as the subject, it is called the grasped object of non-erroneous sensory consciousness, because for non-erroneous sensory consciousness, it is the cause of the image creator. This is universal, because apart from the object of the cause that creates the image of that consciousness, there is nothing else called the grasped object of that consciousness. Third, the fault of holding the nose etc. at the same time is divided into two: proposing the fault, refuting the defense. First, the consciousness that can recognize a white cow, as the subject, how can it simultaneously hold the cow's own limbs, such as the nose, tail, etc., and become a cow with limbs? Because in reality it cannot be held at the same time. If you admit it, then that consciousness, as the subject, recognizes the cow without seeing the white cow, because the white cow is not seen together with the tail, etc. Second, if you think that the cow and its limbs, as the subject, although they are many things, one consciousness can recognize them at the same time, because they are merit and master, that is, they become special and have special multiple things. This is universal, because like individual atoms, multiple things that have not become special and have special cannot be held at the same time, but those that have become special and have special, even if they are multiple things, can be held at the same time. Then, one consciousness, as the subject, cannot simultaneously hold the cow and all its limbs. Because it is impossible to hold the cow's limbs at the same time.

Because of this. The limbs of a cow are not multiple as distinct and possessing distinctness. Furthermore, the limbs of a cow, such as the ears, possess qualities such as blueness, as well as the general characteristics of the ears themselves, and functions such as movement, are also subjects. It should not be logically possible for a single mind to simultaneously grasp them, because they are not multiple as distinct and possessing distinctness. Moreover, the limbs of a cow and the cow are subjects. There is no existence in reality as distinct and possessing distinctness, because as distinct and possessing distinctness, they are established by the power of others who wish to express them. Just as sometimes it is said, "The cow has horns," and sometimes it is said, "The horns possess the cow." Therefore, that cow is a subject. When grasping it as distinguished by its own limbs, it should logically follow that it is distinguished and grasped only by that single limb that is approached as a limb, and it is impossible to distinguish and grasp it by multiple limbs, because it is impossible to simultaneously grasp its multiple limbs. Fourth, the fallacy of not knowing various things as other things has two parts: stating the fallacy and refuting the denial of fault. First, the mind that grasps pots, felt, etc., is a subject. Even if pots, felt, etc., are seen as different, it should logically follow that they become one mind and are not distinguished, because pots, felt, etc., from the perspective of their own nature, do not rely on characteristics and are not distinguished from other things, and also, the characteristics that establish pots, felt, etc., as different, such as qualities, etc., are not grasped together with pots, felt, etc., because multiple things are not grasped simultaneously. Second, if it is said that previously only the substance of pots, felt, etc., was grasped, and later only the distinctions of qualities and generality, etc., were grasped, therefore multiple pots, felt, etc., are understood as different, then, even if that is the case, a single mind is a subject. The relationship between these limbs, such as qualities, etc., and their own possessor of limbs will become confused, that is, one will not recognize which possessor of limbs these limbs belong to, because the limbs and the possessor of limbs are not grasped simultaneously. Fifth, the view that others also hold that multiple things are grasped simultaneously: In the view of the Samkhya school, the root consciousness is a subject. It should be logically established that multiple things are not grasped simultaneously, but only the five senses such as sound.
