If it is said to be a sign of Dharma, if the sign that establishes the mind, the Dharma of the mind, is established by direct perception, then it can become a sign, but if it is not established, then it cannot become a sign, so it must be established by direct perception. In this way, whatever mind is established by direct perception, its own Dharma, what else is there besides one's own mind? It should be non-existent. Because other than one's own mind, there is nothing established by valid cognition. If you admit it, like your own mind, it is not established by valid cognition, so it cannot become a sign. Furthermore, is the Dharma that is considered to be a sign of the mind the very collection of causes for the mind, or does it arise from other collections of causes? If it is the former, the Dharma of the mind, its own nature, what is different from the mind? It should be the mind itself. Because the mind and the collection of causes are the same, arising from one. If you admit it, then that is also not established by valid cognition, so it is not a sign. If it is the latter, if it arises from other collections of causes, then the Dharma of the mind, its own nature, is possessed of delusion towards the mind, so it cannot establish the mind. Because it has no connection with the mind. If it cannot be established, then it must be admitted as a result. That is, the five objects such as form, the senses and the object are the mind. Other than these, the other result of the mind, its own nature, is an approximate representation, not existence, because it is obvious but cannot be seen. Among them, the two, the senses and the mind, their own nature, cannot establish the mind, because it transcends the senses, that is, the mind is not established by valid cognition, then that is also not established by valid cognition. From the five objects, form, its own nature, is not the result of the mind that grasps form, because whatever arises from the seeing mind, and elsewhere, that is, arising from elsewhere, and separated from the possibility of existence, none of them are cognized by valid cognition. In such a situation, whatever is considered to be a sign that establishes the mind, its own nature, saying that it is a sign that establishes the mind is just a casual remark, because it is not known by valid cognition. There are two aspects to the third: the mind of one's own continuum cannot be established, and the mind of another's continuum cannot be established. The first aspect is: in this way, there is no sign that establishes the mind on the continuum, even if we assume that there is a sign, that which is considered to be a sign of the mind, its own nature, how can you realize the mind on your own continuum? Because the sign that establishes the mind on your own continuum is not correct, because the relationship between your own continuum's mind and being together is not seen by valid cognition, because your own continuum's

Because that consciousness cannot be established by valid cognition in any case. The former has pervasion, because the correct reason is that which is not seen in its own related object, but manifests in its own subject, and does not make it understood. If you say that before the reason for establishing one's own consciousness is established, one's own consciousness is not established, but in other places consciousness has already been established, and there the connection between the reason and consciousness is certain, and later one infers one's own consciousness by that reason. Then, for the dharma that establishes one's own consciousness, your example's establisher will become endless. Because your example needs a reason to establish consciousness in oneself and others, and for that, another example needs to be established by a reason. Because things are not the reason for consciousness. That consciousness, dharma, cannot be established by valid cognition in any way for you, because you take the meaning of establishing things as the reason, because you are not established by valid cognition, and things themselves are not completely established by valid cognition. Second, if one's own consciousness is not established by direct perception, not only does one not understand consciousness, but others also do not understand it. For example, a person, dharma, cannot infer the mind in the continuum of others from the gestures of body and speech, because the gestures of body and speech are not seen to be related to the mind in one's own continuum. The pervasion is that one sees consciousness directly in one's own continuum, and sees that language, body movements, etc. arise from that consciousness, so one can infer that there is consciousness in the minds of others from the expression of body and speech. Otherwise, it is not so. Second, refuting the understanding of the wisdom of the mind from the reason. The understanding of the wisdom of the mind, dharma, you cannot infer from taking your own object as the reason, because when establishing you, the self-characteristic reason of your own object is not completely established, that is, it is not certain. Fourth, refuting the experience of others by other experiencers, and establishing it is divided into two: if both are not self-illuminating, then there is no illuminating illuminator; the former is self-illuminating, so the latter does not need to illuminate. First, consciousness is not self-illuminating, so it needs to be illuminated by other illuminators. According to what you say, how can consciousness be completely illuminated by other consciousnesses? If you say that because the image of the latter consciousness arises from the former consciousness, the latter consciousness can make the former consciousness
