The seven key points are to be regarded as the general outline. This system seems to completely and accurately embody the views of Dignāga, Dharmakīrti, and Kīrticandra, so I will follow it to explain. The second part is divided into two points: explaining the classification of valid cognition, result, and the measurer; explaining the proof of that classification. The first part is divided into four points: explaining the valid cognition and result of object-cognition arising from external objects; explaining the valid cognition and result of cognition-cognition arising from the stabilization of habitual imprints; although external objects exist, self-cognition becomes the result; although appearances are false, self-cognition becomes the result. The first part is divided into three points: proving that valid cognition and result are the same entity; refuting that valid cognition and result are different things; dispelling disputes about the same entity. The first part is divided into four points: cognizing the object is the proof of establishing capacity; establishing capacity requires possessing two characteristics; therefore, valid cognition and result are not different things; even so, action and activity are feasible. The first point is: In general, for what is to be proven and the prover, there are cognizable object and cognizing subject, generating object and generating subject, and classifying and establishing what is to be proven and the prover, etc., there are many situations, and all of these have three things: action, activity, and agent. Among them, for what is to be proven and the prover, as the action of all actions, not all agents are provers, because for the cognizable object, there is no prover other than the cognizing subject that can prove it, for the generating object, there is nothing other than the generating subject that can prove it, for the classifying object, there is nothing other than the classifying subject that can prove it. Similarly, all provers cannot prove all that is to be proven. So, what is the situation here? In the case of valid cognition and result, as the subject, the establisher itself is the prover, because whatever can prove the result of its own action from the prover is the prover of that action, because this is the case of establishing the result of the classifying object as what is to be proven. What is the establisher itself? In the first case of valid cognition and result, as the subject, the similar thing that has become the entity of knowledge is the establisher, because this is the case of establishing the cognition of the object as what is to be proven. The second part is divided into two points: it needs to be the entity of knowledge; it needs to manifest the appearance of the object. The first point is

There are two, namely: consciousness can distinguish the meaning of things. Therefore, it is not the establisher of the senses. The first is: for actions, forms, etc., there is experience on them, and the consciousness of holding blue, etc., which is only similar in nature in terms of intellect, is the dharma. You are the action of the agent, that is, the objects depend on each other, and by this, blue is cognized, and by this, yellow is cognized, etc. The dharma that can distinguish the meaning of things separately, you must become its nature. Because matter cannot distinguish the meaning of things separately. The second is: the cause of consciousness, such as the colored senses, is the dharma. You produce the difference between clear and unclear consciousness from clear and unclear, although there is a different action, that is, for each object, the consciousness that has no difference only in intellect is not the determinant of the difference in the meaning of things, because it is not the nature of consciousness, and it is the common cause of all sense consciousnesses. The second has two, namely: the result of things can establish the meaning of things. Therefore, it is not the establisher of the senses. The first is: because it is not the nature of consciousness, it cannot establish the meaning of things. From the appearance of the different aspects of things that have become the nature of this consciousness, it can be distinguished that this consciousness and this consciousness are the cognition of blue, yellow, etc., is the dharma. It is established as the achiever of that meaning of things, because it becomes the action of the author itself, and it can definitely establish the meaning of things. The second is: then what is it that consciousness can establish the meaning of things separately? Some say: it is established only by the consciousness made by the clarity and unclearness of the senses. If the appearance of the clarity and unclearness of the senses can make the nature of consciousness become the difference between clarity and unclearness, but the consciousness made by it, the essence of things, that is, the appearance that has not appeared other than the appearance, is the dharma. It is not the characteristic of the meaning of things, because this consciousness cognizes this thing, and it does not establish the connection with things. The third is: therefore, the nature of the external object that can be measured, that is, the appearance itself given from its own side, is the dharma. You are the achiever of cognizing the external object that can be measured, because you can represent the cognition of the external object that can be measured. If the achiever of the cognition of the meaning of things is the same as the thing
