Because that is not a classification controlled by you, but a conventional classification where worldly people, in order to avoid clinging to the whole, etc., have temporarily set aside the meaning of that very thing for that sole purpose. Secondly, although it exists, there is no harm because there is a difference in the sign, there are three: Knowledge is diverse, without distinction. Things are diverse, with distinction. Although not one substance, it is reasonable in the realm. The first is: In the sense consciousness that grasps the variegated, the appearance of the variegated appearing coarsely, has the property. It should not be a single substance, because it appears in the mind as diverse. The answer to "appearing in the mind as diverse" is based on the view of the Sutra school: Our mind is the nature of various forms. Because the sign is the appearance of diverse things that can be distinguished, it is distinctive. The appearance of the sense consciousness that grasps the variegated is indistinguishable, so the reason is not established, this is explaining: In the consciousness that grasps the variegated, various colors such as blue appear, has the property. It is a difference of knowledge, that is, the nature of experience is unique, it does not depend on or is established by other substances, because it is the appearance of diverse things that cannot be distinguished, it is not in a way that can be distinguished, it is not possible to see clearly. If the reason is not established, because subsequent conceptualizations distinguish and say "this is blue, this is yellow", if you say so. The subsequent conceptualization, at that time, the conceptualization that makes such a distinction, has the property. It is not that the phenomenon appearing in the sense consciousness directly appears and makes a distinction, because if the meaning of the sound directly appears, it will cling to the self-characteristic of the meaning, and thus engage in distinguishing the meaning. Therefore, the appearance of a single mind that grasps the variegated, has the property. Although it appears as diverse, it becomes true in the face of a single knowledge, because the single knowledge, in whatever way it appears as diverse things that cannot be distinguished, that is merely experiencing that state, therefore, it is like that. The second is: Just as the diversity of knowledge has no distinction, are the blue and yellow colors of things like cloth and butterflies also a single substance? If you ask like that. Cloth and other things, have the property. Just like the diversity of knowledge, it will become indistinguishable

If it is not so, it is because it is one thing. If there are differences, then it is a variety of branches, not a whole with branches. Thus, the shapes of cloth, etc., are the subject. The various branches with differences are definite, and there is no whole with branches other than them, because there is no difference other than the variety of branches, and the variety of wholes with branches has not been seen by valid cognition. Thirdly, if many atoms do not gather together, and there is no single object with branches, then even if they gather together like individual atoms, will they not become objects of sensory perception? Answer: Many atoms, which arise with the distinction of gathering with other atoms from the time when they have not gathered, are the subject. Although they also become the cause of simultaneous sensory perception, what contradiction is there? There is no contradiction. Although there is no single object with branches, it benefits simultaneous sensory perception. For example, the three conditions of the senses, etc., are of different types, and although there is no single object with branches, they can still produce sensory perception. If it is the cause, will it not become the object of sensory perception? Answer: For those who have the three causes of sensory perception, sensory perception is the one among those causes that manifests the form of what appears, and the one that can create the form is the subject. It is called the object of non-deceptive sensory perception, because it is the cause of creating the form for non-deceptive sensory perception. It is pervasive. Because there is nothing else called the object of that consciousness other than the object that creates the form of that consciousness. Thirdly, there are two faults in not holding Noga, etc., simultaneously: establishing the fault and refuting the rebuttal of eliminating the fault. The first is that the consciousness that recognizes the white and variegated cow is the subject. How does the cow, together with its own branches, Noga, mane, tail, etc., simultaneously hold the cow with branches? It is definitely impossible to hold. Because it cannot simultaneously hold multiple meanings. If you say it can be held, then that consciousness, the subject. It will become invisible to know the white and variegated color as a cow. Because it cannot see the white and variegated color together with the mane, etc. Secondly, if the cow and its branches, etc., are the subject. Although they are many things, it is permissible for one consciousness to know them simultaneously, because they are virtues and the main thing, that is, they are many kinds of differences and things with differences.
