Wow! In some cases, it is easy for the body to help the state of the mind's continuum by transmitting. Merely helping the state of mind, as the subject of debate, the change of the body does not lead to the change of the mind's continuum, because the body is not the immediate cause of the mind. For example, the characteristics of things like vases, such as hardness, can be helped by fire, but the extinguishing of the fire does not lead to the cessation of the continuum of vases and so on. The third part has three points: refuting the overly extreme reasoning; refuting the opponent's answer lacking favorable conditions; refuting the opponent's answer with existing opposing conditions. The first point is: if the meaning of "that cause" is understood as the body being the direct cause of the mind, then the dead body, as the subject of debate, will become the fault of not having the cessation of consciousness, because the direct cause of consciousness—the body—still exists, that is, the body exists. The second point is: if it is said that the dead body, as the subject of debate, does not have consciousness, because the favorable condition of consciousness—breath—does not exist. Then, consciousness, as the subject of debate, breathing arises and appears from you, but breathing is not the cause of generating your continuum. Because, when you, who help breathing, exist, breathing exists, and breathing will become controlled by you. Exhaling and inhaling are not produced without your effort, are they? Furthermore, consciousness, as the subject of debate, due to the increase and decrease of breathing, you will become obtaining increase and decrease. Because you are a substance produced from the immediate cause of breathing. Also, for those who think that the body is the direct cause of consciousness and that the dead body does not have the auxiliary condition of consciousness—breath, the dead body, as the subject of debate, will also have the fault of having breath, because the direct cause of breath—the body—exists. If it is said that, for your view that the previous moment of consciousness is the cause of the next moment of consciousness, the dead body will also have consciousness. Then, if the cause of consciousness is consciousness, the dead body, as the subject of debate, will have the fault of having consciousness, because the cause of consciousness is complete. This statement is not the same, because, for this body, there is a pulling force that keeps consciousness abiding in it, that is, the karma of previous lives, etc., is also considered the cause of consciousness abiding in the body, therefore, the dead body does not have the cause of consciousness abiding. The third part has three points: wanting
