It is unreasonable to assume that there is no interruption, because the Buddhist tenet is not a reliable tenet. Why? Because it follows the tenet that does not establish meaning with valid cognition, or why not follow? Because it should not be followed. Here, Lha Shakya said that the mind of an Arhat at the time of death does not produce the mind of the next life, which is said in the true sense, and that production is said in the hidden sense. Although Nyima and others have said the opposite view, it is only to show the contradiction in the commitment to the Lokayata, and asked what is the reason why the mind of an Arhat at the time of death has no interruption, it is not his own view that there is no interruption. The second part has four points: stating the assumption and asking questions, elaborating on the reasoning of refutation, dispelling the erroneous debate on this, and revealing the conclusion established by refutation. The first point is: if the mind of an Arhat at the time of death does not produce the mind of the next life, because the cause of that mind is separated from the body, then, having the nature of the cause separated from the body, why not state it when establishing that the last mind of an ordinary person at the time of death does not produce the mind of the next life? It should be stated, because it should be stated in the proof as an example, because the reason is the same. If you admit it, then what is the use of the uncertain mind of death? It is meaningless. The second part has six points: refuting that the body is the direct cause of consciousness, refuting that the body and mind are the cause and effect of having the nearest cause, refuting the support and the supported that are not producers, refuting the cause and effect of the body and mind with other reasoning, refuting that consciousness is the nature of the body, and refuting that consciousness is produced by relying on the body. The first point has three points: refuting that it is a direct cause through analysis, and merely being a cause is not a remover, and if it is a direct cause, there are too many faults. The first point is: if you say that in the example and the subject of debate, we state this as the proof of not producing the next cognition, then, if consciousness arises from the body, does it arise from the body with roots or from the body without roots? For the time being, consciousness is not directly produced from the body with roots, if it is produced, then the consciousness nature, like the consciousness of the eye, should clearly hold the form, because it is the consciousness of other objects directly produced from the root of the eye. The other roots are also similar, so the root

If it is said that it is prevented from arising from one (root), but arises from the collection of all five, then, the five faculties, which are the subject, you do not actually arise as a single consciousness even from the collection of all, because each has the ability to generate the eye consciousness, etc., which are the fruits of your own self, and are different from each other. If consciousness actually arises from a body without faculties, then, other bodies without faculties, which are the subject, you do not actually generate consciousness and conceptualization, because you are inherently without mind. If the body and mind are not the support and the supported, then it contradicts co-existence, if it is said so, then the body of sentient beings and the conceptualization of mind, which are the subject, do not co-exist because they are the support and the supported, although they are not the support and the supported, they co-exist because they arise from one cause, just as the five faculties of some sentient beings co-exist, and the form and taste that depend on one collection co-exist. If the body changes due to illness, etc., then the mind also changes, and the mind actually depends on the body, if it is said so, then, other external things such as blood pierced by weapons, which are the subject, you are the support of consciousness, because through you, consciousness also changes. Secondly, the meaning of "that cause". If it is said that the body is the cause that benefits the difference of the mind, then being separated from it does not pervade the absence of mind, thus, the fruit dharmas, etc., which are the subject, any dharma that benefits its own nature by its prior existence, that is, its own immediate cause, if it disappears, then it disappears, because it always definitely follows the thing that benefits its own nature by its prior existence. Because the cause comes before and the effect arises later, therefore, the Bhagavan, which is the subject, said "This being, that arises", and the word "This being" in the seventh case, and the word "This arising" in the fifth case of "This arising, that arises", shows that the cause exists before, and the two words "This arising" and "This being" are said to be that the effect exists later, because in order to realize that the cause exists before and the effect arises later, it must be shown that way, such immediate cause and, the definition of immediate cause is not established on body and mind.
