Because it is the same as abandoning that. If you accept, the person who meditates on what is mine as suffering, the characteristic of the Dharma, meditating on what is mine as suffering will become meaningless, because even if you are separated from attachment to what is mine, you will not abandon what is mine. The fourth has two parts: stating the consequence and refuting the denial of fault. The first is: a person who seeks liberation, the characteristic of the Dharma, in order to be separated from attachment to what is mine, meditating on what is mine as suffering will become meaningless, because even if those things that are mine are meditated on as suffering, it is only to directly know that they are the nature of suffering. Because that alone will not separate you from attachment to what is mine, because some things that are mine are suffering, which was previously established by direct perception, even so, there is no separation from attachment to it. The second is: if you see it as suffering, you will be separated from attachment, because seeing the faults in some objects, you will see the separation from attachment to them, if you say so. A person with self-grasping, the characteristic of the Dharma, if by seeing the faults in what is mine, at the moment of seeing the faults, the mind of attachment to it may turn away, but what is mine will never be completely separated from attachment, because there is attachment to other objects. It is pervasive, in general, if there is a difference between what should be taken and what should be abandoned in some objects, then the attachment that arises from one object that should be taken, when it is produced by various causes, then the previous objects that should be abandoned, etc., become the seeds of attachment to all objects. For example, some greedy people, seeing the faults in one woman, although the manifest attachment turns away, because there is attachment to other women, using this as a cause, attachment arises to the previous woman as well. The fifth has two parts: stating the consequence and refuting the denial of fault. The first is: a person, the characteristic of the Dharma, that is the Dharma of samsara, to those with faults, the separation of attachment will change, but it will not change, because I am without fault, and the attachment with that as its object is also without fault, and the proofs, such as what is mine, are also without fault, therefore they are not to be separated from attachment. It is pervasive, because sentient beings, that is, the Dharma of samsara, are only those three. The previous sign has been promised, if I am without fault, then the other two are without fault, because it should be obtained by reason. The second
