It is because it is accomplished by this. The second has two parts: refuting subjugation by meditating on suffering, and refuting subjugation by generating suffering. The first is: If you say that by meditating on attachment to self, etc., as suffering, one abandons the thought of "mine" towards it, then by what kind of mind can one prevent it? This reason is not established. If you say so, then attachment to self, etc., as the subject, even if it is seen as suffering, it is impossible to abandon the thought of "mine," because the cause of the arising of the thought of "mine" in you is due to the connection of self and aggregation, etc., and even if that connection is seen as suffering, it still remains in its previous state. Accepting this reason, this is refuting the Vaisheshika school. The Samkhya school believes that the object to be grasped as "mine" and the subject that grasps, the self and the purusha, are one, so the thought of "mine" arises towards it, and they also believe that oneness is produced by aggregation. This is not reasonable, my form, etc., as the subject, it is impossible for you to generate the thought of "mine," because there is no connection of aggregation between you and the self, and no unified cognition. It is not possible to think so, because seeing that it benefits the self exists in all external "mine." The second is: A person who has attained liberation, as the subject, will not generate the thought of "mine" towards the senses, etc., and will abandon them, because the senses, etc., are seen as the cause of generating suffering. For example, a finger bitten by a poisonous snake. Therefore, by what kind of mind can one prevent it? If you say that this reason is not established, the senses, etc., as the subject, are not entirely seen as the cause of generating suffering, because they may also be seen as the cause of some temporary happiness. If you say that one abandons them simply because one sees most of the senses, etc., as the cause of generating suffering, just as one abandons most poisonous food because one sees it as the cause of generating suffering, then both the example and the meaning are not established. Like this, a person with the thought of acceptance and rejection, as the subject, if he obtains special food, because he is attached to its happiness, he will abandon poisonous food that is contrary to it, because he craves special happiness, so he will completely abandon a little happiness. A person without the thought of acceptance and rejection

Ga, the subject: Because of attachment to self, just as one would partake of poisoned food, one would also engage in it, without thoughts of acceptance or rejection, simply attached to the pleasure of food. For example, some who desire women, when they cannot find them, are seen engaging in desire with female animals. Secondly, the self in the state of samsara, the subject, should perish. Because what was previously possessed of self will later be completely separated from all possessions of self. It is not possible to think so, because those who think that the self exists, how would they think that the self would perish? They do not wish it. The self in the state of liberation, the subject, is not what the self-grasping ones think of as the self. Because they think it is a false basis for all experiences, all names, and all qualities such as wisdom. This is pervasive, because the nature of the self grasped by the self-grasping ones is not such a false basis for experiences, etc. The third part has two points: the actual proof and the refutation of errors. The first point is: a self-grasping one who is free from attachment to what is mine, the subject, will have attachment to what is mine, because he has self-grasping. This is pervasive, because in all ways, self-grasping firmly clings to the self, and attachment to the self exists in the state of the seed of clinging to what is mine. Therefore, for the sake of being free from attachment to what is mine, those who contemplate what is mine as suffering, the subject, even though they strive to contemplate what is mine as suffering, attachment to the self hinders them from being free from attachment to what is mine, and also obscures and does not see the faults of what is mine. Because depending on seeing the qualities of what is mine, just like a condition, it has the seed that leads to attachment to the self. The second point is: if there is attachment to the self, then attachment to what is mine will not disappear, even if this non-attachment also gets rid of attachment to the self, then the sign of attachment to the self cannot be established. Now, this non-attachment is the subject, even if one gets rid of attachment to it by contemplating what is mine as suffering, but just because of that, one will not abandon what is mine. Even if one gets rid of attachment to the self, how would one abandon the self?
