I, the sound of a collection with a single basis, that is, having common points, is not permissible, because the sound of a vase abandons the shape of the vase as an object of expression. However, the sound of category expression is permissible to be based on the sound of expressing the category holder, because it expresses without abandoning the category holder as the object of expression. For example, the case of "Shapa is a tree." The sound of category expression is permissible to be based on the expression of the category holder, and the sound of collection expression is not permissible to be based on the expression of the collection holder, therefore, the sound expressed by category and collection, as a subject, relying on one dharma and abandoning other differences and not abandoning other differences, that is not your difference, because relying on each dharma, not abandoning the category holder as the object of expression, and abandoning the collection as the object of expression, this is your difference. If there is no difference in meaning between a vase and the shape of a vase, then the term expressing the shape and the vase as different, such as "the shape of a vase," would be unnecessary, if you think so. The shape of the vase, etc., are distinguished by the general vase of the collection to distinguish the parts, the sound expressing the shape and smell of the vase, etc., as a subject, is not unnecessary, because among the many shapes of the vase, etc., the difference in the ability to generate eye consciousness, etc., of the shape and smell, etc., is to be specifically pointed out and shown. The sound of the shape of the vase, in terms of showing the difference in the ability of the shape of the vase, as a subject, the smell of sandalwood, etc., should also be expressed as showing the difference in ability, because the smell of sandalwood can represent the difference from other smells. Second, the many parts themselves cannot be the cause, divided into two types: the collection of parts cannot be the cause, and each part cannot be the cause. The first is: if, like the two views, the many parts of the body are the direct cause of consciousness, then, are all parts a collection or are they each a cause? If, like the first view, consciousness, as a subject, should not arise even if separated from a part of the body such as the ear, because the collection of all parts of the body is your cause. The second is divided into three types: expressing the inference of harm, refuting its faults, and refuting the similarity to oneself. The first is: if, like the second view, for a being with a body, as a subject,

Therefore, it is absurd for many streams of mental substance to arise simultaneously. Even if each part of the body is capable of generating its own mind. The second part is divided into two points: one breath is not suitable as the cause of mind, and multiple breaths are not suitable as the cause of mind. The first point is: even if there are multiple bodies, multiple minds will not arise simultaneously, because there is only one breath, so it is certain that one mind will arise from it. If you think so, then the generation and absorption of breath is the subject. Because you are one, you cannot determine each mind, because you are the same as the body and many particles. If this is not established, because breath and body are eternal, minds will be generated sequentially. Then, for a being with a body, many mental substances will appear and arise simultaneously. Because the cause of many mental substances, that is, the breath and eternal body with unimpeded ability, are always close. If breath and the eternal body are not the cause of generating multiple mental substances simultaneously, but generate them sequentially, then breath and the eternal body are the subject. It is not the case that multiple minds are not generated sequentially either, because there is no difference from not generating multiple minds before. Furthermore, even if it is allowed that there is only one breath, then the being with a body is the subject. From the certainty of that one breath, it cannot be determined that there is only one mind, because even in a single instance like the outward flow of breath, wisdom that comprehends multiple meanings before and after arises. If this is not universal, because one partless wisdom knows multiple meanings before and after. Then, that wisdom is the subject. At the time of comprehending the previous meaning, multiple meanings before and after will be comprehended simultaneously, because there is no contradiction in comprehending multiple meanings before and after simultaneously at the time of comprehending the previous meaning. If it is not established, then that wisdom is the subject. It will not comprehend multiple meanings before and after sequentially either, because there is no difference from not comprehending multiple meanings afterwards. The second part is divided into two points: refuting the generation of mind through multiple gradual occurrences, and refuting the generation of mind through multiple simultaneous occurrences. The first point is: since breath itself is not of the same kind, many moments of breath with a temporal sequence arising from the eternal body
