Then, when will it become a non-cause? It is impossible for it to become a non-cause, because it is the cause of the effect and is permanent. This proposition is admitted. Furthermore, the self-existent one, as the subject, by what particularity do you want to be the cause in the state of wanting to be the cause, and not want to be the non-cause, but must want to be the cause? Because even when wanting to be the cause, it has not become a state with a special nature from the state of not being the cause. If there is no pervasion, then, the healing and growth of a wound on a black person's body, as the subject, even a tree stump that is not related to you, why is it not considered your cause? Rather, it should be considered your cause. Because even if it has not become a special nature from a non-cause, there are cases where it is a cause. This cannot be accepted, because the wound on the black person's body is produced from the contact of weapons, etc., with the black person's body, and the healing and growth of the wound is caused by the contact of medicine, etc., with the black person's body. If the previous reason is not established, then, self-existent one, it is also not permissible to change from the state of non-cause to a special nature, because the previous and subsequent natures are not different and are permanent. Second, self-existent one, even your ability to produce effects is difficult to be recognized by valid cognition, because you cannot reverse your own effect with opposing forces, because you are permanent. Third, when potters and clay, etc., are present, seeing that a pot is produced, other than those, self-existent one, you are not the cause of the pot, and if you think you are the cause of the pot, then from all the effects, the causes will continue endlessly in a mutually mixed manner. The fourth point is divided into two: eliminating the uncertainty of external conditions, and eliminating the uncertainty of internal conditions. The first point is that because it has not become a special nature from the above-mentioned state of non-cause, there is no fault of becoming a non-cause. If someone says that because the earth, etc., are permanent, even if they have not become a special nature from the state of not producing sprouts, they are still the cause of sprouts. Then, the earth and seeds, etc., as the subject, when producing sprouts, if they completely change from the state of not producing sprouts to a special nature, then it is a cause, and if they have not become a special nature, then it is not a cause, because if plowing, etc., is done well, then the characteristics of that sprout will become better, etc.

In order to eliminate (this claim). Secondly, if, for example, the collection of sense faculties engaging with objects, even if it has not transformed into a special state from the state of not being collected, is the cause of generating sense consciousness, then, is it uncertain that this Ishvara, even without transforming into a special state different from non-causes, is a cause? For the collection of three conditions as well, as the subject, it is not that it has not transformed into a self-nature special state different from not being collected, because there is a transformation into a special state different from not being collected. If not, then even if the three conditions are collected, as the subject, it would become without the ability to generate sense consciousness, because from the causes that individually do not have the ability to generate sense consciousness, there is no transformation into a self-nature special state. Therefore, the collection of three conditions, as the subject, is established as a special state different from not being collected, because it has the ability to generate sense consciousness. Therefore, those three conditions, as the subject, are the cause of sense consciousness, etc., because even if each individually does not have the ability to generate sense consciousness, etc., but when collected, it becomes a virtue of transforming into a special state capable of generating sense consciousness. Ishvara, etc., as the subject, are not causes, because they have not transformed into a self-nature special state. Explaining those three reasons for establishing it. Secondly, explaining the complete reason for establishing that, there are two: marginal analysis and the actual meaning of the treatise. First, the former scholars divided the necessity of stating transformation into two: distinction and complete exclusion. For the first, it is to eliminate disputes, such as "Is validity permanent or not?", etc.; for the latter, the dispute is, such as "Validity is knowing hidden meanings", etc., one verse; the answer is, to show not understanding, such as "Cannot show", etc., four verses, they all say this in unison. But this is not the intention of the treatise's author, because "Becoming the measure that depends on the establisher" is also the meaning of the establishment of the necessity of distinction, and it should not be explained separately as the necessity of complete exclusion, and even so, when arguing, three disputes were raised, and the four verses only answered the first, therefore it would become a fault of not answering the latter two. If it is thought that the answers to the latter two were answered by explaining the establisher in a forward and reverse manner, then in that case, the dispute
