If it is said that the agent and the enjoyer are different, then, the self as the agent will be destroyed because it is different from the one who enjoys the ripened results. Furthermore, the self as the person will not be able to produce results because it is permanent. Secondly, if it is said that what is experienced, done, seen, etc. by others will become what is remembered, enjoyed, recognized, etc. by others, because the experiencer and the rememberer are not the same, then, is this consequence drawn from the perspective of the person or from the perspective of the dharma? If it is the former, then what is experienced by another person will become what is remembered by another person, etc., because the person who experiences and the person who remembers are not the same, etc. This consequence is not harmful to Dharmakirti, because some people do not have experiences, etc., so Dharmakirti gives you a congruent answer of uncertain pervasion. If it is the latter, then what is experienced by another aggregate of dharmas will become what is remembered by another aggregate of dharmas, etc., because the dharma of the experiencer and the dharma of the rememberer, etc., are not the same. This consequence is not harmful to Dharmakirti, because what is experienced by the previous aggregate of dharmas will give rise to what is remembered by the later aggregate of dharmas, etc., so Dharmakirti gives you a congruent answer of acceptance, because for the reason that dharma experiences and dharma remembers, there is remembrance arising from experience, but there is no person experiencing and a person remembering. Here, it is necessary to understand this key point: those who assert reality believe that experience, memory, etc. can be analyzed by reason, while those who assert the substantial existence of a person believe that a person's experience, a person's memory, etc. can be analyzed by reason. However, realists from the Kashmir Vaibhashikas (ཁ་ཆེ་བྱེ་བྲག་ཏུ་སྨྲ་བ།) upwards believe that applying these to a person is only a name, and that experience, memory, etc., which can be analyzed by reason, must be applied to the dharma, because what is experienced by the eye consciousness that apprehends blue is remembered by the subsequent memory consciousness, and the karma accumulated by the mental factor is enjoyed by the subsequent feeling, etc.

Therefore, since a person does not have experience and memory, there is no such thing as another person's experience and another person's memory. The experience and memory of Dharma are different, because they are cause and effect. The Madhyamaka-Prāsaṅgika school believes that, conventionally, experience and memory can be established on both Dharma and persons, but experience and memory are not other, because if they are cause and effect, they must not be other. These are very important for the tenets of Madhyamaka and Pramāṇa, and wise people should keep them in mind. Third, therefore, in order to show the antidote to correct view, it is divided into two parts: showing the antidote to eliminate craving, and without craving, there is no rebirth. The first part is: with the correct view of cultivating impermanence and other sixteen aspects well, as the subject, it can eliminate all craving and its followers, such as stinginess and jealousy, because for the object of the Four Noble Truths, it can truly understand and cultivate the sixteen aspects such as impermanence, which are contrary to the sixteen aspects such as permanence. It is universally established, because in the object of the Four Noble Truths, the truth of suffering is clung to as stable, i.e., permanent, as well as happiness, as well as I, as well as mine, etc., the truth of origin is clung to as non-cause, etc., the truth of cessation is clung to as non-cessation, etc., and the truth of the path is clung to as non-path, etc. In this way, with the sixteen non-correct aspects, ignorance is increased, and therefore, the craving arising from ignorance completely clings to taking and abandoning happiness and suffering. The second part is: the person who has abandoned the craving arising from self-grasping, as the subject, even if karma and body exist, will not take birth with the three causes of karma, afflictions, and body, because the main cause, affliction, is no longer there. For example, just as a sprout will not grow without a seed. Here, the treatises of the truth of the path establish that the path of realizing selflessness is the antidote to samsara, and the cause of the suffering of samsara is ignorance, which includes the view of the aggregates (འཇིག་ལྟ,梵文:satkāya-dṛṣṭi,IAST:satkāya-dṛṣṭi,meaning: view of the existing body), and the condition is craving. Therefore, the occasion of the treatises is also the two occasions of eliminating the antidotes to these. First, by showing that the path that has already been spoken of has the ability to abandon samsara by realizing selflessness, then entering into its establishment, that is, the reality of the object.
